Is this Botrytis blight? necrotic leave w/ white mildew in center

Ok, so like the title says I have a clone that has necrotic leaves and the sallest leave is completely necrotic w/ white mold/meldew look'n stuff on the base of the leave. One leave has white stuff on the bottom. There was a humidity dome over them and I was spraying them quite often. Temps have gotten high also. Is this Botrytis? And how do I get rid of it? Can I foliar spray with aquashield, earth nectar/ambersia, blue lighnting? Otherwise I was planning on either safer fungicide or a homemade fungicide w/ either cinnomon or baking soda. Any suggestions?

I would suggest that you chill and avoid trying to overcomplicate things. :)

First off alot of missing information.

Are you talking about clones?
Do they have roots?
└ if so do not spray them at all and remove the dome immidiately, this will probably solve your mold and pm issues, however remove the infected leafs before it spreads, unless its on the top of them, then i would suggest spraying with a 5% h202 solution.

If they do not have roots i would suggest just removing the dome and avoid misting them.

This is in vegetative state?

Mold and fungi is very dependant upon humidity and will thrive in hot humid places. Now just follow the teachings of tsun tzu :joint:

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

There is nothing like beeing baked in the middle of the night.

Yes I am talking about unrooted clones, they are otherwise healthy. There is some damage on the most recent smallest leaves on top. So should I cut it off all aflicted areas and spray with h202 5%. Funny I was just thinking about using h202, was just not sure of the % so thank you very much.

Before you do anything i would remove the dome and stop misting. I do not mist nor dome, but if i did i would just do one of them. The point of not misting clones, aside from avoiding fungal infections, is to force the clone to root. The way your doing it it can live happily(with some mold) forever in the humid condition as it feeds through the leaves.

So remove the dome and stop misting, cut off the infected and try to get the pm off, then if the pm returns spray with a 5% h202 solution, but be careful this might burn the plant.

sounds like it. I just saw a few trays of clones with Botrytis. From your explanation it sounds like what I saw.
5% h202 would work
messenger is a preventative that works pretty well.

My prob looks alot like this:
nietz120.jpg

From OG's Growfaq "Phosphorus (P) deficiency during vegatative growth" "Many people mistaken this for a fungus, but look for the damage to occur near the end of leave, and leaves the color dull greyish with a very brittle texture."

Now that is just about right on, But here is the question:
Why would multiple clones that are of different strains get the same nute deficiency in a cloner? They are in a diy ez-cloner used clonex solution in the water... is that bad? Also, I sprayed with magic green when they first went in... I know that was probably bad. (i mistakenly thought it was my thrivealive spray). Thank you guys so much.

I can tell you that botrytis looks just like in your photo. It's something we fight every season on grapes. Pictures fuzzy though. Does it smear when you wipe it with a finger?

I find it a bit unusual to be on a leaf, as we usually find it in or around the fruit. Thats where the sugars are. There's a product called "Pristine" if you can get it that has a dual mode of action against PM and a single mode of action against botrytis (if I remember correctly).

actinovate kicked my blight in the ass instantly. 1 tsp per gallon folliar best with ph 7-8 with carrier like wet betty[advanced nutrients] or gold penetrator[dutch masters], any will do. i sprayed heavy under folliage then the whole plants after lights off every 3 days. cleared up unbelievable, its a great product to prevent all kinda of problems and i see a liitle more vigor in my plants. and i put a tsp per 25 gallons in the res. worked for me and everybody else in my neck of the woods. can't keep it in stock. hope this is helpfull. ps i do aero,

Well I think it was either blight or pm... however i sprayed with safer fungicide (sulfer) and the prob is gonzo. I tossed the highly damaged ones as i now able to take new ones. This time in the aerocloner, no dome or misting. Do you guys mist or dome your clones in an aero-style cloner?
