I have a 2 tent setup (2'x4') . Both off Amazon for 80 bucks apiece +s/h.
cheapest lights I've found were @ www.ballastkit.com
I bought 1 400w MH and 1 400W HPS w/ glass, exhaust port, bulb, and free shipping under $230 each...

What are your temps like cuz I have that same fan and have been going back and forth between sealed air cooled hood or cool tube...

They say the Cooltube doesnt throw light as well because of the curved glass.

If I were to do it aagain I think Id go with a decent 6'' sealed ac hood over the tube. But either way Im happy as shit with the tube in the DR80.

No more CFLs huh buddy?

No that cab is still pumpin out frosty colas just as dense as my 400 and same size too! But that's with the old hood I'm sure with my new Daystar A/C hood that I'm able to hold my hand against the glass and not burn when I couldn't keep my hand 8" away from the old one!! Soda can buds is what I want to see from my HID!

A/C hoods are defitinly nice! I have a dual lamp hood and with 800W in it I can still put my hand on the glass without burning the shit outta myself. :good:

Pulled out 6 males in the last couple of days (of course most of my biggest and brightest plants all turned out to be dudes :badday:), then switched to my HPS after a week of 12/12. I've got 12 of the 20 plants left, and I'm sure that 9 of them are females--now that they have more space hopefully they can fill in a bit.

I checked this morning and what I thought was a female definitely has a couple of male flowers too. Any chance of this passing, or is it a full-blown hermie from here on out? I've heard they can go through phases, but out of LOTS of plants outdoors I've never had a hermie until this run.

holy shit dudes. I had a hell of a time trying to hang my carbon filter yesterday. It's a can33 and i used the straps that came with the tent to hang it to the support rods on the roof of the dr120Wide. ANy tips on better support straps or something?

Have it outside the tent on top of the roof? That's how it's supposed to be anyway from the pics, granted they do have the straps to use inside but my Vortex sits on top of the roof right on the 5" duct and I have my Odorsok hooked onto the exhaust end of my fan and no hanging nothing but my hood..

my girls are all looking happy and the parts that had deficiencies are correcting themselves after a good flush and switching over to House&Garden Cocos A&B with Roots Excelurator and Drip Clean :tiphat: Also gave them a foliar feed with Magic Green and I can see the waxy layer building up! H&G all they way man I can see the difference with just 2 days of using it :jump: Now that I know what line I'm going to stick with it's all about dialing my strains to be perfect.

I had a hell of a time trying to hang my Can 33 in my tent too. I decided to put it on the floor because I was afraid of it falling on my head while I was gardening. It takes up too much floor space, so I'll go with a smaller filter that I can hang next time.

do the Grow Labs not support a Can 33 Carbon filter and fan combo?

I will be putting together my little GL 60 tonight as a little veg/clones chamber. Fun Stuff!

The Goblin filter is PERFECT for the DR80 and its only 20 pounds, I have one with a 6'' inline hooked directly to it hanging inside of my tent. There is also a 4'' Elf also from hydorhut that would work great with a 4'' inline.

The setup is supr cean with either of these two set ups

Looking good! When did you switch to House and Garden? What made you switch and how do you know it is better? I am using GH 6/9 with Smart Pots and so far they are doing really good. But I just bought some Tropf Bluemats, and might get some drip clean. Since they will be getting fed constantly.

I will be interested to see your results, hope it works out well for you. I have not done a full run with Coco yet, so I can only compare to DWC. Will see how GH works, but I if something else works better I am game to use it. Good luck...btw I grew 2 liter bottle sized buds in DWC under a 400 watt hps with cool tubes...more than once. Take care.

I think I'm going to join the club with a DR 150!
It looks awesome and perfect for my needs!
One question though.
I am going to be using a 400 W CMH by Philips.
It produces a better spectrum and more light than the best MH or HPS 400 W systems. Will it create enough light for this big of a tent?
Thanks for the help!
