this is a little strange to me as this hasnt happened to me before.

just acquired new clones about a week and a half ago, which all of them had deficiencies and some issues, the sluts and i have worked out our problems but have come to another.

heres some very basic background info:

temps=75-78F (day) 65-67F (night)
humidity= 50-60% day and night
lighting= air cooled 400w MH at about 15" away (canopy sees about 76F) at 18/6 schedule
method= 100% organic
age= 6wks

everything is as correct as it could be...

now im not having any issues until about an hour or two before lights out, they all start to droop.

its most definitely not over or under watering so i am kinda stumped as to what it is.

when its lights on all of them are nice and perky all day up until a few hours before lights out.

the only thing i can think of that im cranking too much light on them? and it just seems to be wearing on them.

anybody have any advice they could shoot my way?

It can be explained by the fact that in the days water is sucked by the plants and in the end of the days,the leaves weight much more heavy.

that could be it, but why after lights out would they start to perk right back up? when its lights on theyre back to normal, so thats a little hard to say its because water is absorbed i would think.

when the lights come on, theyre already perky and ready for more light, so that is why its weird to me, and seems to me that im cranking too much on them.

this is normal! the plant knows what the light cycle is so when it gets close to lights off they start to get ready to rest.. this is when i like to water so the plant can build roots,stems and suck up as much as they need to start a new day..and every morning they all are standing tall reaching for the sun. :smoker:

Hey man, sorry to hear about your troubles. Personally I can't imagine that one 400 watt Halide 15" away is too much light, I keep mine as close as 3-5" away by week 6 of veg.

My plants typically do droop at the end of the day, for the same reasons as stated above.

yes i completely understand what all of you are saying.

but normal is drooping when the lights go out... of course thats normal.

but what im saying is that they droop with the lights on, towards the end of the day. then the light goes out and they perk back up to normal.

i do not see this as normal...
