She may not be an AF, but she's definitely showing sex at a young age - in the shade!

Poor baby girl must have gotten chilled, with her purple stem & leaf petioles...

The top 2 tiers of leaves she put on after being placed in decent soil under the 400watt sun...

Thanks, Bighill for that info... Didn't realize...

Here's more pix of the baby gurl...

She was so cute & Wes was so sincere about wanting to "rescue" her...

Hope all can view these now, as I generally keep a low profile...

Considering how short the days are in the last month, I'd figure anything that could sprout and grow would have been forced to flower early

Yup..got her now m8.

What is your natural light pattern..I am assuming that you are 12/12 or there abouts.
so it could be AF or long season..
either way...
a gift from mother nature is not to be sniffed at.

She looks as if she is trying her heart out..so give her some love..and see what she gives you back.

I just found a renegade growing on the tarmac where the water from the patio runs off...
first timein 4 years I have had a Run-away..
luckily I spotted her before the neighbours did. :biglaugh:

Have a great weekend..:smoke out:

Mossy - Perhaps I should have said "renegade" or "feral," as apparently it was in someone's backyard (overgrown with vines) where the kids would fling their seeds & bongwater...

She is trying her heart out & is strangely also a triploid, making 2 triploids I have going now (the other is Blue Streak)... How fascinating, the world of plants!

After sunbathing for about 10 days at the electric beach, she's losing a bit of the purple in the stem...

Will update pix later today or tomorrow...

Here's a couple pix from yesterday... She's perking up nicely...

Weird branching structure & even weirder leaf shape, altho I have had 1 before like this, about 20 years ago...

Anyone able to tell me how this leaf shape compares to Wally's Ducksfoot?

Does "Bama" stands for alabama ???

Indeed, once I started some seeds outdoor at the start of March and by the end of the month they were showing flowers (that was Mighty Mite and Early Island Indica), as they daylenght increased, the plants quickly reverted to growth and ended up flowering normally.
Within a month or so you should know wether it's a true autoflower plant or not.

That's what I'm waiting to find out... So far, under the hps on 20/4, she's still happily blooming away, even at 10 days...

Alabama, 30 N lat...

Apparently, she is NOT autoflowering, as she is now showing only pistils... She has bushed out & up tremendously, however, & is now located outdoors next to the PPP in full bloom...

12 days after the last post, here's new pix of the feral baby girl...

She has 3-fingered leaves down below & 1-fingered in the middle...

Still has red leaf petioles, tho...

New top growth shown here:

Here she is on the left next to the PPP who is blooming seriously now (gonna hafta get a cardboard box to put over her as the days lengthen)...

Interesting how dark her leaves are in contrast to the PPP mother who has been outdoors since March 20...
