Package redflagged?

Painfull

I send away for a thing called a bucket, which is a waterless bong, that uses air. For some reason it had the return address and i could tell it was opened and must have been flagged. The post office made me sign with my address. It must have been red flagged and the fliter was missing and screen broken.
My question is, will my mail be watched or my house.
:thank you:

I'd return it and get your $$ back. It's a felony for them to open your mail bro. The cops would risk blowing their case and a thief would've just taken the whole thing. It probably came open in transit. Cops aren't gonna start watching your house because you got a bong in the mail either. They don't have the resources for that. I'd send it back to where you got it from....and tone the paranonia down a little.JK...LOL

I worked for UPS when I was younger and I can say without a doubt in my mind that the package probably broke open during transit. It happens alot, I've seen UPS workers walking on top of boxes when they get behind on loading. I was a loader in the trailors and when they start sending boxes down the line and you cant keep up, its not like the line pauses for you... they just end up spilling off the line onto the floor where you might accidently or intentionally walk on top of them to get at other boxes. I've seen entire contents spill out onto the floor of the trailors many times. They'll repair the box if they can if not, they'll put it in a new box with new labels. The signature might have been required by the shop that sold you the bong. Check with them about the signature. They might have had problems in the past with people saying they never recieved their item and lost money sending out a new one free of charge.

I used to fuel cargo jets at airport - anyone thinks that putting "FRAGILE" on package makes a difference in handling, you are sadly mistaken. Fragile means "kick the shit out of it, please" in cargo handler lingo.

I've seen loaders/unloaders hurl boxes containing computers, glassware, etc.

The things they do to packages is scary - it's a wonder anything gets to destinations unbroken.

And as an aside - saw many a UPS person talking with the local pigs about something someone had shipped, and they had intercepted. Canada here, so don't know if the peek and squeal laws are different here.

Oh hardly, it's a felony for you to open his mail, not them.
Think customs, homeland security.
They catch domestic and international packs all the time, usually they just seize them.
But sometimes they seal them back up and do a "controlled delivery" Postal inspector(same as cop) dressed up as mailman brings it to you, ask you to sign for it, and as soon as you have taken possesion, cops that were hiding come running out and raid your house.
I haven't heard of it much for seeds and bongs, but a few years back they got a severe hard on for steriods being sent in the mail and raided a couple people I know that way.

Yup no different than them going through your bags at the airport. things get inspected.

And if you are talking about the bukket bong, then that thing is really not worth it

Send it back, get your money back. Then subscribe to the mailing lists for a couple of church groups, and a few charities. If anyone is watching your mail, they'll lose interest pretty quick.

This was US Mail not UPS or FEDEX. It's still a felony to open domestic U.S.mail addressed to someone else without a warrant. I'm not saying it ain't done....I'm just sayin'.

Maybe for you. I am sure there are provisions for Customs and Homeland Security to open what they wish

actually i would bet on it.

A clean pipe doesn't prove anything... Then they should check everybody who buys pipes & papers.. hehe

Anyways In the middle of the Alps the police tend to check your packages. If they don't like what is in it then they gonna call you to your offices a couple of days later.. You may just explain that you don't know nothing of the package and neither does your lawyer (but usually works when sending privately stuff, not from shops).

You guys should lay off the bud till your paranoia has subsided.
Customs has NOTHING to do with domestic mail. And Homeland Security has better things to do than go thru your mail looking for bongs.....and bet all you want. Those provisions without a warrant don't exist.
Better yet...yeah they open every piece of mail you send/receive....better be careful.:)
