checked on the cab this morning temps were at 32c and my cheese cutting looks like a goner, iv put it bak in my veg cab and hope it comes round.

Iv got to sort some better cooling out, i added a few fans blowing from tip to base of the bulbs but that hasnt helped, i read that the pll's cool down after the first week of use and i hope thats true, but i need some help getting temps down, my 150w hps didnt create this much heat!

thats odd, i only use one 120mm pc fan for extraction, and my bulbs are super cool??? with external temps at around 70 i only get as high as 74-78, rarely over 80, and thats usually when i have company, then the extra co2 helps, and is appreciated more in the 80's as well.

seems like you have a serious fan though?? are you pushing through carbon? i know it's better for your fan, as the intake should not be restricted. is your ballast made to run pll's??? i know my workhorse is, but am not familiar with yours. is your exhaust being diverted away from your intake? if not it could just be recirculating it, making it too hot. i also have my intake on the very very bottom of the cab so it gets the coldest, highest co2 concentrated air. and the exhaust is all the way up top, blowing it up up and away, so it never comes back.

well the bulbs are brand new so hopefuly theyll cool down abit once they get worn in, the ballast isnt ment specificaly for pll, but they ment to run 2x60w t8's.

im not sure wot u mean about the exhaust but the fan and carbon filter are outside the tent and the exhaust hole right at the top, there are passive intake vents in the bottom of the tent that bring air in.

if your hitting 32c, a fan blowing across the bulbs wont help, you need more exhaust and maybe more intake.

common sense says to me, blowing a fan across the bulb, cools the bulb down, but where do you think the heat goes to? the air in the cab!

i got a new ec meter because i couldnt be bothered doing the conversions, my tap water is .5 ec out of the tap with ph of about 7.8, i have been adding more nutes gradualy and today we are at .7 ec with ph of 5.5 and its looking gud.

oh my white widow seedling died, but the cheisel is doing ok but growing pretty slow, ill upload more pics later or tomoro.
