Big Pots

I was wondering if anyone uses say 10 to 30 gallon pots been searching and can't find anything would be helpfull to see some examples.

I've never used bigger than 5 myself, but I remember reading an old thread of bog's back on OG, and he used pots larger than 10 gallons and put one plant under a 1000w light...I forget how many pounds that plant yielded...

I veg in 4inch pots, 2 gal pots, then finally after they're nice, and big transplant into 15 gallon. Then the important part is vegging\training at least another couple weeks so they fill the 15 gal. pot. I ran a room with plants in 5 gallon home depot buckets alongside ones in 15. I made sure to have a a few strains in both sizes. The plants in the 15 gallon pots yield a lot more and seem to be a higher quality. Although I wouldn't go into more than 5 gallon unless you plan on making sure they're bushes. Luckily I have the space.

Google " Smart Pots " they're great for growing the bushes & trees of life - aka - our girl Mary. They have them in sizes from 1 gallon all the way up to 200 plus.

DIY Air Pot

DIY Air Pot

If you're familiar with the Air Pot product from Scotland - here

You might want to consider buying the outside material here and do your own thing and probably save quite a bit of money.

This product is called "Ben's Potato Tower" and you can probably find other retailers online around the country.

^^^ No, that would be called a hole. The whole point in having " pots " is that a person can move their plant(s) if needed.

Like you're going to move a 30 gallon pot filled with dirt, and a big ass plant.

I'm not as healthy as your yet but it'll get there after a few cycles.

Killer, GSmiley. Wow.

Thanks man

Lol same here! I veg in 15 gal. and got some bushes but damn Smiley how you get those fat stalks?

Supercropping, topping makes the stem keep growing but the plant looks the same size. So it still takes up 28x28 inches but all the stems are woody(r) and stronger. And don't get me started about the 60 budsites per shrub :dance013:

If any of those strains vegged 3 months without training they'd be touching the ceiling before the flip. Well.... not quite but you get my meaning.

The height from the top of the soil to the top is 30-35 inches and under 24 inches wide. Except for my da-black which is a lot bigger

I honestly love having big plants. I used to run 16 1 gallons, then 16 2 gallons then 8 5 gallon......

10 10 gallon seems to be my favorite. When the plants are this huge, you can break half the plant in an accident and not even miss it. I could take a hundred thousand clones.

I think it will be 8 10 gallon with individual scrog screens will be the future.

Oh yeah, last watering, the 10 took 40+ gallons. Tomorrow I have on hand 60 gallons for the next watering.

I don't have the luxury of taking plants to the point that you do in the 'veg' cycle. I'm more than a little impressed.

Very impressed actually.

I'm using 1 2 3 and 5 gallon pots. I have two of my Blue Moon Rocks growing in,I'm thinking 10 gallon pots. These beasts demand more root space or all growth slows to a halt.
It's clear that some strains just perform a lot better with more root space.

As for me and the moving them around thing........I do that as little as possible.
The BMR's live in one spot.

Damn, your garden got tuned the f*ck up Smiley!
