But how do i collect seeds? do you just wait for em to 'drop' out? or do u have to take them out manually at some piont?

Or if best,.. someone have some pictures to include to guide me :D:bump:

hi jimmy you can normally tell when the pips start pushing out a little they start green then go brown when pushing out more when you see most of the pips then you can chop put in an cupboard or cardboard box with plenty of air when the plant is dry pips should just fall out good luck

Oke, so is there a way to tell if my pollination was succesfull? how do i know when to stop pollinating the buds? :D

Usually pistils will die (turn from white to dark brown/orange and shrink) when pollination occurs, to get the most seeds you should pollinate every white hair even when they keep on forming after your first pollination

the hairs turn brown and shrivel up just like at the end of flowering. I left my seeded mi5 untill she was pretty much dead. i then cut her and hung her upside down for a few weeks. put something under to catch falling seeds. make sure they are dry before you store them. the longer you leave them the healthyer the seeds will be. I got 100% germination so far

Oke thank you. i noticed some brown hairs! but will pollinate some more so all of my lower branches all will make seeds. I want the upper pbuds to produce normal smokeable weed :).

So i gues when i want to harvest ill just cut off the normal buds and leave the lower ( seed producing )buds alive, and chop de plant till it almost dead?

sounds like a good bet to make sure your seeds are mature and viable.

I was thinking about pollinating the lower branches of my female plant aswell.. How branch specific is it? Id really like to keep the top from becoming riddled with seeds to the point of no smoke.
Any advise/tips for aplying the pollin?

hey anomix,

So far so good. I only see the pilstels on the lower branches turning brown. I just slide down the pollen from a white paper onto the pistel with a sharp litte knife. the knife so the pollen actualy falls of the paper and not sticks on the thing your using to push of the pollen from the paper... u know what i mean? :d haha

use a small paint brush if you can and lightly brush each hair, its pretty hard to miss this way

I will keif out the pollenated plant and separate the seeds that way upon harvest.

Here is my current auto blueberry (lowlife seeds) pollenated and at 3 weeks flower.
