Bubble hash first time... have a couple questions!!

Hey, I just picked up some Sprung bags and I'm about to do my first bubble hash run. I had a couple questions on technique and I was hoping that someone here could shed some light on them:

-Can you keep the trim frozen indefinitely without quality loss? Do you have to use it within a certain time period of freezing? Was just curious because with a staggered harvest, some trim might sit in the freezer for 2 weeks until the last plant is harvested and used fresh?

-If using fresh and/or frozen popcorn buds should you cut them up before making bubble? Seems like this might be a good idea to expose greater surface area and make trich extraction easier... what do you think?

Any pointers that you could offer would be really appreciated. I've read the techniques and watched some videos and these are the main questions I have... can't wait to do this run!

Everybodys going to give different answers based on their experience but i would say;

Storing weed in the freezer - no problem, it totally minimzes biological processes so only minimal degredation should occur.

cut up before making bubble - yes I always do this, as you said, seems to be the logical course of action to maximize yield.


Only other thing I would recommend is as soon as y our finished with each bag, you MUST rinse it straight away, otherwise by the time you've used the bags a 2nd time they'll be clogged up to shit.

I'm stoked to make some bubble. I just picked up some Sprung bags as they seem like a GREAT deal!! I have the feeling I'll get some nice bubble! Hopefully a bit of full-melt. I've got a 12-qt tupperware full of sugar-trim only and nice popcorn buds!!

Probably gonna do 2 runs... one with Indica-leaning strains: GDP Kush and LA Confidential..... and then a second run with Sour Diesel, Headband, and Mr. Nice.

make sure you remove all stalks and cut the leaves up as fine as possible, like match head size

I clean my baggs with rubbing alchol& very hot water! Also make sure u do the run 2 times , u will almost get the same amount the second run as the first . Hope this is helpfull peace green rasta
