Ok ill bite on this one:
51" HDTV
2 xbox (1 has 250 gig hard drive, 108 games on hard drive, along with thousands of roms for snes and nes)
xbox 360(modded)
Nintendo Wii
nice midrange tower pc
broken laptop im using as a server of sorts

Thats about it I suppose, but the most important thing I own is my awsome chair I set in front off all that shit. It is the most comfortable chair ever, leather too.

University Student here also, I'd say we are both around average for people in our positions, but most people parents pay for that stuff for them soo....
Nice sound systems by the way.

edit: Oh yeah my favorite electronics are my 2 600 hps ballasts, I forgot about those. They in turn give me...

I like electronics but I can't afford them lol.

I'd want a plasma and HD system. Apple Ibook, satelite radio.

the most recent thing I bought was a gps navigation system for my car lol, I played with it for a long time when I got it, it also stores 40 gigs of music, stores adresses, large 7 inch touchscreen with build in detailed map of Canada and the U.S.

pretty nice piece of technology.

My setup is a work in progress.

Powering a pair of Paradigm 9se's is a Pioneer vsx-9300 A/V receiver. This receiver is old school, heavy as fuck, powerful and clean. And all the lights still work too. Sweet. To this I have my computer hooked up so I can play all my music through it.

Recently got a PS3 system. Still need to get the flat screen tv; probably will go with a 42" plasma. Once I get that hooked up I'll be able to use it as a second computer screen and to watch movies/tv and play ps3.

After that all I'll need is a couple rear speakers, center channel, and sub. That will be some time in the future.

You measure your TVs in inches. How cute. Mine LCD projector measures 15-20 feet depending on location.

Of course, it's useless in the dark. At 800x600 pixels it has a pronounced window screen effect (though you get past that pretty quick) and Super Video is it's top end video connection. You can forget about reading anything other than bold news paper headlines. The lamp costs $500 every other year. I could almost get a new (and better) projector for that kind of money and probably will when this lamp goes.

Still, for all it's quirks, there's nothing like it for watching epic flicks at home. To check the edges of the screen, you have to turn your head just like being outside. Whazzat over there...?

Gotta give a shout out to the DVD format and it's (general) adherence to widescreen. The term Full Screen should be outlawed in favor of Half Screen as half the flick is all you see. Love subtitles too. Don't know if it's actors, directors or sound engineers but, everybody seems to mumble in modern flicks and I can't hear a word they say.

Do love the electronics for sure. However I returned my 42" lcd last year when I moved to an outdoor grow and didn't have room in my tent for it. My two technic turntables and stanton mixer have been in storage since I returned. My xbox360 has unfortunately suffered the same fate. When I'm not spending time with my girls, I'm spending time with my girl. All the gadgets have taken a back burner lately it seems.

Doesn't mean I've given up my geekdom, just don't have the time for it at the moment.

Alright, {edit} the Lazyman doesn't do anything half-assed, if I am into something I'm into it 100%. That goes for electronic doodads, and more specifically, home theater. I'll add a pic to this later. {/edit}

InFocus 1080P LCD projector with 75" screen
Onkyo SR705 THX 7.1 Receiver
DCM KX12 Fronts and DCM center
Bose surrounds
Mach5 Audio 18" sub, port tuned to 19hz in a custom cab I modfied.
12" Sony Sub
Both fed by a Mackie 1400W RMS amp
Sony DVD recorder + VCR combo unit
Motorola dual channel HD DVR, all cabling is HDMI 1.3a
PS3 60gb, connected to dual hacked PSP's and a Locationfree player and network so I can watch my DVR from my PSP anywhere in the world.
PSP software allows access to home network and 140GB of MP3s, another 200GB of movies and video.
Dual wireless laptops as PS3 media servers and PSP media servers
All on a 12mbps cable line and gigabit ethernet network.
JVC Turntable
JVC dual casette deck (yeah, I know! but it works and I had room.)
Dual UPS units for keeping network and DVR alive during power outages.

So about 2400W RMS running total (which isn't actually true, given it's on a 20A circuit and I dim the lights at 50% volume.) I actually am in need of a power upgrade, big time!

Movie theaters are so quaint, I wonder how much longer they'll exist. ;)
