Sooo finally get my burner up and before i get a chance to even turn it on i look at my meter and see it reading 1400 ppm in my room with no CO2 on???

Damn if i have to send this thing back and wait on a new one I`m gonna be pissed.

Ive reset it several time and calibrated it twice. The funny thing is its correct when i stick it outside its around 400.

Then i hang it up on its hook and its reading in the 1400`s???

hate dealing with grow equipment sometimes

Could it be remotely possible that your room actual have a CO2 of 1400ppm.

How much co2 does the avgerage person expell why working in there room?
Would the presense of a person make a sensor go up to 1400ppm?

Do you run electronic ballasts? I've had many problems with erratic readings on other electronic devices within about a 20 foot radius of electronic ballasts.

yep check to see if you have electronic ballast in close proximity of your meter.

There is a good chance that the CO2 level in your room is actually 1400ppm. People exhale much more CO2 than they think.
If I'm in my room for more than a half hour then the CO2 gen gets turned off cause my PPM goes throught the roof just from my breathing.

Yep, digi ballasts and ozone generators create lots of RF. If your room is very well sealed and you were in there a while 1400 is feasible.

Yea all great feedback thus far, but this is where i am at so far after taking everything into consideration. I considered it could possibly be me exhaling too much co2 there the sensor so i checked it immediately upon entering and still a reading of around 1450.

I do run one 600 galaxy about 20 feet away from the monitor and through a door, BUT it is not running right now and the problem still persists.

I have recalibareted the meter several time now and it reads fine outside, but hten it comes in side and starts skyrocketing up to 1250..

Believe you me i wish my ambient co2 was 1449 wheneve ri wanted

thanks for all the responses i`m shipping her off now to be fixed. couldnt have happen at a worse time though

Yea i do have a gas furnace but its at least 30 ft away and through a door. The only reason i`d say this couldn`t be the reason is when i bought the monitor back in Dec it was reading around 600ppm.

Then about a a week ago it started reading in the 1300`s.

Haha I`m def gonna check the ppm next to my furnace and see If i can get some of that air into my veg room.Maybe not i dunno im stoned.

thanks for the ideas though LAzy

Slap the shit out of it, yell and scream, cuss, threaten to do more, and see if it finally decides it wants to play nice.
