Age Old Organic nutes work pretty well, and they are pretty cheap.

I've been toting 5 gallon containers with handles on them for years, it does suck trying to grow outside when you have to bring all your materials to your plants that are in the middle of nowhere, keeps ya in shape though lol. I wish there is a day when I can make big ol beds of an awesome blend and water them with my hose out in the full sun.

Until then camo is most important, I still grow em big but not big like Toms and Buttes, big for my area is like 7-8 ft, but they grow wide lol, and most have to be Indy or Indy dom to finish in time.

This year we are gonna try using a pumps inside 55 gallon drums, mix the water and nutes in the drum then drive to our spots we can get within 100 yards or so and see if the pump is strong enough to push the water uphill to the plants. Almost time to go test it all out first and make sure it even works lol.

i have used the red jets and they spray about 20 feet away from themselves... this does not seem useful for watering 5 foot wide containers. the other color sprayers seem to have a lower flow rate, but lower flow at the same psi seems to imply an even FARTHER spray distance...

wait... i just read down further on the page.

The C-Frame Downspray sprayer is a 360° spray jet with a 45° downward trajectory. It is available in 3 flow rates.
Features include:
* Perfect for container plants
* Covers complete circle

I am going to be going to dripworks soon.

I think I'm going to build my own brewer. I looked at the growing machines brewer and I'm pretty sure I can build something as sick.

good advice...i filled up the tank and THEN saw the tiny sticker that say "check for leaks befure filling" hahha luckily it was tight but i would be very mad if it was leaking after i filled it

another question...anybody have good specs for a muffle box for a small 2500 watt genne?

Those are alright. I tried em out in door, I didn't really like them too much. You can make the diameter of the circle hitting the pots more or less by raising or lowering the sprayer. Careful on the pressure, too high and your sprayers will turn in to misters...The ones at the top of the page are money though. I don't think they're the same as the EZ Clone ones though bro..Are you sure..they look similar but the diameters and flow rates are consistent with what they're sharing.

The EZ Clone sprayers also spray up and out like a DripWorks Tornado Mister (something I'm thinking about running all around my yard for automated foliar feeding up till flower MORE WATER!!)

I love PVFS...Activate and ORP refrence solution and meter were out of stock and restocked 4/9..I had them to my door step 4/13. Well It's almost 8:00..time to clock in to work.

I am pretty sure the red ones are exactly the same as the ones that come with EZ cloners. i have both a store-bought EZ and a homemade... I bought the red misters at Spare Time, not dripworks...but like I said...pretty sure they are the same thing.

are u using something to regulate the pressure going into your watering system?

I am not as happy with PVGS as you... they STILL have not returned my soild sample tests! and all they have to do is email them to me. I have called 3 times and they keep telling me that they will be in in the next few days.

I'm sorry. I don't know what to say. My experience with them was adding more stuff to my order and the price going down with it showing up early at my door and the back ordered stuff being shipped ASAP !! Wish you could sing the same praise. I'll go take a picture right now of what I have set up to water my patch

Welp, got everything finalized and I'll be trying to keep up with you big dogs just a bit. I'd like keep my business in this thread since I don't particularly want the attention but you guys have pretty much given me 90% of the info I've needed to give this a shot so I'll record my progress here as things go along..

We have a pallet(30 bales) of promix and everything else needed for our little space in the country.. perlite, chicken manure, coarse perlite, gypsum, couple hundred lbs of well composted horse manure and maybe a little cow (unlimited supplies available).

Doing 100 gallon holes, dug with a backhoe, soil mixed in a cement mixer. Water ran from a lake to a 250 gallon horse trough equipped with a float valve for auto-filling then brought the last leg (100-200 feet) with a drill pump.. cattle will be all around and the plot is protected by an electrical fence that the cows are very well aware of and cannot stand to go around. 8-10 hours of direct light will be available. Watering can be done as often as needed no problem.
Plants go in June 1st at 2-3' tall.
It's a lofty goal, but we're hoping for 5 per.
There's probably not much to say for a while as that pretty much sums it up, but once again thanks everyone for their advice in making this possible.

Just got to throw out a huge thanks to all the contributors on this thread. I've been growing in my greenhouse for years, (You can see pics in my albums), but I have never felt better about beginning a new summer.

I'll be rocking a bunch of Owl's strains, Heaven, Early Skunk,and Purple Ticinensis. Plus a local 'Blue Magoo' flavor from Eugene area. (I live in the High Elevation Desert, on the East side of the mountains.)

I did my soil testing today, have a ph of 7 across the board, and was thinking I need to drop the ph of a 12' x 20' x 2'. Any suggestions? The strains I am growing were picked because Felix grows at 4,200 ft on the side of the Alps, I am at 3,900 ft, with very similar temps. I think I'd like to drop to at least a 6.5 ph with what I can discern here.

I'm also black boxing 2 Diesels, but that soil was freshly prepared a couple of weeks ago.

I guess I just need some soil amendment advice.

nomaad, that strains are what I have zero experience with outdoors so that's a big question mark. To help vary it up we're doing 6 or so different strains. A really heavy yielding SWT #3 in which mold late in the season has me concerned, a few C99 which I feel pretty good about, some Sour DieselxNL, some SOL Mountain Mix, LUIxDJ's F13, which is more F13 yielding than LUI so mold isn't as big of a concern, a cross of some old school BCGA's Orange Crushxan almost black pheno of White Rhino, SWT #3xAlpha Diesel, and some Sensi Skunk #1.. I have no idea how any of these do outdoors but they've all been ran indoors.. SWT is the only one that has me really concerned because it tends to mold indoors because of the density of the buds so I'll probably top a lot to try and keep the arm-sized buds to a miminum. Fortunately I know it also finishes rather early so maybe I can get them in by Oct 1... We'll see..
