I will put this out there for anybody that wonders......

There are about 30 light leaks around my zipper! with one BIG ASS one on the zipper as it makes its way across the bottom of the door.

I have my DR80 in a closet so Im not worried about leaks myself, I will prob throw a black sheet over the door to plug the holes fo peace of mind.

They are only around the zipper stitching and if I stand inside I see ZERO light entering the cab. (I cant see my hand at all), The light flows out of these holes when I have my 600 blasting in there. Other thn that the tent is AWESOME!!!!

Shit Blunt that's dope you got a 600 rocking in a DR80! FYI the GL80 and DR80 are the same size so I have the Grow Lab chart and it says the 80s are 6.9sq ft!! Which means with a 600w you have 86.95 call it 87 watts per sq ft bro that's nice! I've got 57w per sq ft and 7246 lumens per sq ft and that's more than 2 1 ks in a GL145L! But since I haven't had it cool enough is why I'm not seeing the size of buds I expected to see with HID. Soon though I will have it right, I know I will by the time I flip the lights to 12/12 this round for sure. I even thought of getting some 3gal Air Pots to transplant into since I'm only running 5 plants this round instead of 9-16 like I was trying to do before haha and this time they are getting some real deal veg time and some mycorrhizae for the roots to take off even more but enough rambling I'm buzzed off some Jilly Bean waiting on my crop to dry...

I have a DR 60 its not big or owt, I got it to keep some mothers in,, now there too big,,
I love the tent,, I have had some before that were of inferiror quality!! I want to see what I can get yield wise out the thing as a laugh really, what do people think is possible and what size lamp do people suggest. Time is no issue I am going to be hand feeding in a mix of Canna coco and biobizz Allmix at a 50/50 ratio using water throughout veg in 6 LTR airpot then upsize my pot 20ltr and use the same mix as in veg,, Totally organic,, Homemade tea style!!
I and am toying with the idea of a non ballast 250w envirolight or a 250 HPS I need to buy these or a few 125 envirolights bare bulb 2 red 2 blue?? I wont use LED,

I also thought about growing a bush in a bigger tent then top it to size and scroggg it with a tripple g..

how big is a DR60? I ran a cooltubed 400 in a 2x2x4 cab I built and was able to keep the temps down in the low 70's if I wanted.

Id probably go with a ballasted 250 HPS, that way the ballast is outside of the tent helping keep the temps down.

^^ 2x2x5' i suggest a 250 watt or close. verdantgreen of this site gets 10 oz. or so a harvest with scrog and 250 watt light in similar size cab. he is a top notch grower, so your yield will likely not equal that. you might also consider pll fluoros as opposed to envirolites, whatever they are. plls are the king of fluoros for efficiency.
i have a dr60 too, very nice tent. all you need for a personal grow imo. well, that and a light,fan,filter.....

What inline fan are you running and does the muffler make a huge difference? Because I have a 4" Active Air and I have to run it at 40% or else its pretty damn loud.

I'm running a 4" vortex, I think it's rated at 170cfm or thereabouts. The muffler is pretty big, probably makes it sound like it's running at 40% when it's actually running at 65 or 70%...if that makes any sense. I'd guess it cuts down the audible level of the fan by 30-35% overall if that's more clear

--it's not a miracle or anything, but I can no longer hear it running at 50% when I'm just out of the room. It cost around $16 to make, I already had the mesh and just used a bunch of towels around the mesh core, you could probably make a better one but it's more to direct the air than for the sound.

I have a cool tube and usually it's around 73, never has gotten past 77 or 78 and that's only when I was running the fan at about 20% to test it out (and spaced it out for 2 hours!)...at night when it's not 80 degrees outside and I can leave my windows open they're in the very low 70's.
I usually fine running my fan at 50 or 55% to get it 2 deg above ambient.

I have a few tents going right now but the one i love the most is my DR240.
I am running a hempy vertical set up,

Dr240 8 x 8
Hempy 5 gal buckets 100 % perlite
GH nutes + additives
600 Watts Portable AC
Stadium style
2 k bare bulb
500 cfm fan + carbon filter

The 20x20 aircooled reflector with the louvre on top as well as one in the front, side is called the sungro from sunsystems.

I decided to get the DR80 vs. the GL based on the DR is just a little better lightproof. I am going to equip it with a lumatek 400/600 digi that I'll probably just use as a 400. I just want the option for later if I want more!
I am going to vent with a 4" fanteck fr110 167cfm inline. I've used both fanteck and elicient both and they are equally great, I just feel that the fanteck is a bit more quiet. The elicient may have a bit more "torque".
So my system will be air-cooled reflector, ducting to inline fan inside tent and then ducting to can-9000-filter to rest on the outside roof. I predict very little sound emitting from the tent, as I have had similar set-ups and the noise was negligible. I will be doing 4, .8 gal airpots for veg and then transplant to 2 gal airpots for 1 week under the 400 before switching to 12/12. Cannacoco and PBP soil, cal/mg, silica blast and maybe hydroplex and LK. I figure I'd just stick with the same line-up. I would love to find one of those white square shallow pans/trays to have as the bottom of the tent if I could find something much closer to the full measurements than 22"x22".
Long story short is that I've started the ordering process and am very excited to get a sharp dialed in mini grow area!

i have a pair of these, exact same, 80cm wide, i used to run them both with 600w in a DR240W, but now i need to reduce my floor area, & was thinking about just one of these in a DR80, with 600w, 6" ruck fan..

im sure the 6" ruck 150L will handle it, as i used the exact same in my dr240w with a pair of 600s, just its in a smaller dr80 tent.

anyone think ill have any problems?
