'nother shot of one of those sours... this one doesn't have the biggest buds, but I love the way it grew. Trained itself right into a nice canopy, here's a side shot:
Also I've got some new stuff, I wish these didn't grow so slow, I'm already counting the days and they're not even flipped yet.

What's good everyone! Digging the view in here, it's lovely as usual. FB & Lloyd, sweet plants!
Sour... a friend gave me 3 seeds of Sour Diesel, popped them recently and got this lady. Out of the 3 this was the only female. Got the ECSD leaf shape and the curled saw-tooth like edges. And the smell is like rancid fruit that's been soaking in diesel fuel.

So nice to see so much great weed growing around the area, we need to grow more to put the damn California Express out of biz.So much crummy California weed coming to the towns around here, I can't believe how much makes it out safely.Years ago it was never this way, we never had good California bud, they just never sent it because it sure was damn good and they kept it to themselves, now they just send it out here, pounds of 1 notch better than the old mexibrick we did receive back then.So please, for me and for the sake of southern New England grow a few extra plants and pass 'em out!!!....Bought a new coffee mug, it's a real beauty!!..............

Cannot be understated! If cali is known for good bud, I wish they would show some me some of it sometime. The only green grape ape I've ever seen came from out that way. Pretty sure they messed up something with that batch.

Ah well you know I'm not against Maryjane in any form but the big California growers just seem to be pumping out what was originally some nice weed but probably some high yielding, mediocre big bud X diesel. I guess I'm saying that I'm sure some of you reading this are waiting for a 10lb box from Santa Cruz and I'm not against you at all, it takes some , well it's like the difference between courage and stupidity, I guess it takes one or the other, but either way I see people paying up to 350 dollars for an ounce of California Blueberry X Diesel that smells just like a mexi brick or one of those big squares of kilos that used to come from Canada. I know lots of people can't be bothered and could care less that they are smoking weed that was sprayed with floramite 2 weeks before harvest. A good friend of mine had a nice big grow of my chemdd cut a few months back and mites moved in about 20 days before harvest and he hosed the whole room with neem and in my opinion ruined every bud in there, you just can't spray resinous stinky bud with neem or worse and expect to pat yourself on the back because you had X amount of ounces..Ah hell I'm sure not perfect but hate to see the weed growing in a market where mediocre or worse is considered great...Lets overgrow the Cali med growers!
Chaco, I couldn't agree more, now a days to me it seems Cali is all about how much you can pump out rather than how dank it is. Now don't get me wrong I have seen some nice stuff shipped over here but you can tell is has just been mass produced and the buds are never what they can or should be. I am all about yields but not to the point where I will destroy quality. I much rather pull 1lb of super dank off 1k than 2lbs of so-so off 1k any day of the week. I guess since we can't be as open about growing as they're out west we need to put in the extra TLC, are harvest overall here on the EC are much smaller so if we mess one up it means more to us. I know I also take pride in growing high quality bud, some take pride in only making lots of $$$$ which means they careless about quality you know the people who rather take 2lbs of so-so rather than 1lb of dank off 1k.

Day 6,the golden Goat is on the left with the plant tie connected to her and half of the Killing Fields is next to her.It's going to be a battle of the bushes, chem D, chemdd, Killing Fields and the Goat.2800W, all the plants have 600W each and one has 1000w.Going to be a real jungle by mid June I hope...I also have two seed batches started, Honey White BX3 and my own Alpha diesel X Sensi NL. So far I have quite a few up and ready to grow.

Alpha Diesel and Sensi NL??? hmmmmmm...........that just might turn out amazing!!!!! I ran the Sensi NL (if my memory is correct they were from Sensi) once about 5 years ago in probably the worst setup ever and there were surely some great phenos. Wish I new then what i know now..............
Until we can SAFELY set up outdoor grows with girls that pull 6-8 lbs per....we aren't gunna fuck with the market..Let the jokers smoke that hay. We can definately do big things though. Creating unique varities ...and smoking them till our lungs get sore. And if no one knows, who gives a shit. Our pipes burn properly. The rest is hooooplah. It's like trying to get people to eat healthy, they are too lazy for that shit, same as smoking good for the most part.

I will be popping new seeds and posting new picks in a few weeks..just getting my closet built and fine tuned. And then it will be off to the races. Man New England got it growing on!

Um, Zen, you're La Nina is going to end up being about 6' high and 5' around, just a rough guess. I just smoked a joint of her this morning and took my boy for a walk down at the old lighthouse.I had my clones rooted and they were growing real well then I switched nutes from Dyna-Grow which is real lightwieght stuff to Gen Hydro 3 part and at the same ph they reacted rather poorly.All the other plants were fine with the same water and ph and I couldn't figure out what was wrong, the plants were about a foot and a bit high and drooping like they had no water, the leaves were curling etc.I raised the ph from my normal 5.7 to 6.0 and wham!They perked up overnight, so I spread the higher ph around the veg room a bit and the rest of the plants looked even better than before....I thought for sure I was going to lose her, I have six cuts too made from 3 branches. Now it looks like they'll be just fine.My MP CC moms also benefitted greatly from the switch.Live and learn I reckon. I'm running the 3 part now in place of the old Sensi A&B just for fun.It is certainly more stable in the reservoir ph wise than the other A&B.I put so many 20gal reservoirs around I kind of painted myself into a corner, not having easy unfettered access to the containers.You may have guessed I'm drinking lots of coffee this afternoon....

HaHa! If anyone knows how big she'll get its Chaco!!!!!! I'm ready for her! Funny you should mention that PH situation. I usually go somewhere between 5.6-5.8, lately a lot of hydro/coco guys have been swearing by a steady 5.5. When I switched from GH to Canna and went 5.5-5.6 and the plants were pissed!!!!!! Now with Canna I'm back up to 5.9-6.0 and its a world of difference, maybe its the mag availability? Funny you mentioned that cause it had my head spinning about a weak ago!
