Bubba Kush Babies wilted

Just picked up some clones of Bubba Kush, they looked great but when I put them under my 1000w HPS they wilted. Any reason that would be?

I'm running an ebb n flo, with rockwool cubes, air temp is 70-75, water is 70-72, RH is 45%.

I'm about to do a full water change this weekend.

Using Gen. Hydroponics nutes, micro, grow and bloom.

Thanks

The roots were already coming out of the bottom of the 4 inch rockwool cubes before I put them on the rockwool strips , the light is 3 feet above the tops of the plants to the glass under the light bulb.

they table is on a timer, floods every 15 minutes with a 40 gal reservoir that is half full, 4x4 ft ebb n flow table

ph "looks" ok, the ph is at 6.0-6.3. I will get a meter to check the ppm, the nutes i'm feeding them is

1 teaspoon/gallon of general hydroponics grow, micro, and bloom. I mix it up in a 5gal jug of water from a water machine, in S. Calif they have water machines that dispense purified, micron filtered, UV, reverse osmosis water so it's pure water. I only added the nutes from GH and a super small spray of SM 90 when I first got them.

I also have some grapeape and they're doing fine, not wilted at all in the same table.

Your answer seems to be in your question, you put em under a 1000w. How far away btw? Clones usually are rooted under low wattage and the transition from that to 1000w can sometimes/most times dry em up.

The 1000w HPS is about 3 feet, when measured from the tops of the babies to the glass under the lighbulb. So about 3 feet above it. Maybe that bubba K strain is just in shock a little bit, the grapeape ones I have under the same light are doing great, maybe raise my light a little bit?

I'd start out nutes at half strength and work my way up. That's all I can think of right now. It almost looks as if they're trying to claw up, not wilt... which can be from too much N.

Thanks Happy Haole, i'll change out the water with 1/2 the nutes I started with and see how they react, and that's an awesome signature line btw,,, the hand grenade is sweet,, former USMC here

The ppm is 708, EC is 1413, I'm using GH micro, grow and bloom 1tsp per gallon. Is that too high or too low ppm and EC? Ph is at 6.0. 20gal in my res, 4x4 ebb n flow table, floods every 15 min.

Looks like a couple are coming around, might of just been in shock, any thoughts?

Every 15 minutes on rockwool slabs is overwatered. I watered mature plants with no slab just 4 inch cubes 3 times with lights on for 15 minutes and once with lights off and never had over/underwatering issues. Id say with the slabs youd need to water less but 3-4 times during lights on should be plenty.

The cubes that are sitting on the slabs are wet, soaked so I definitely am probably over watering. I will cut it back to once an hour and see how that works.

Was there anything super bad about the ppm/ec? In another thread some people advised that my EC, 1400 or 1.4 is really high for clones just starting to veg so I brough it down to about .9.

Thanks!!!

im flooding my well rooted clones 6 times a day, Im using a hydroton bed tho. I would think you are def. over watering if your using rockwool

Im telling you need to cut back to atleast just 4 waterings during lights on and 1 during lights off thats like once every 5 hours. I went once every 6 hours, with no slab and didn't have issues you need to cut yours back big time, thats 12 waterings a day at once every 2 hours entirely way too too much.

Also the once every 6 hours was on 3 ft plants which you can see in my sig, needing idk 100x the amount of water your clones need now.

Does it matter if I put the rockwool slabs on the table the wrong way, you know how the plastic wrapper says "this way up" I put one in that is upside down, does it matter how it drains? Thanks VERY much, I will cut back on the waterings. The rockwool is definitely still wet to the touch which i'm guessing it isn't supposed to be soaked with water. Just as added info, the 4 inch cubes sitting on top of the slabs are def soaked, I will cut back to one watering every 4 or 5 hours and see if they snap out of it.

Thanks!!!! I will post an update. Don't want to waste 15 good bubba kush clones because I fucked it up! :) Thanks again.
