Really, was it just one guy? Care to place a bet on that. And THOUSANDS under "Bush"? Was that a thousand total or thousand per hour, what? And if Californians had any sense they would have put a stop to that after the first one. Why did they allow this? They do know that the lone county shefiff outranks all the feds right? Are they THAT stupid out there, or are they just a bunch of statists who love federal domination, and would gladly trade freedom for a nanny that lets them smoke weed?

We must face facts, as has been stated in here, the Democrats are the ones who have always been the ones to try and block civil rights legislation. Hell, Al Gore's father was a big congressional Democrat that always voted against civil rights legislation. The dems still have former KKK members representing them in congress.
The dems have been lying for decades about their commitment to the ethnic groups. They are using the ethnic groups to push forth their agenda, and could give a ripe rats toss about people of color.
They also care less than a fuck about MJ legislation, unless of course it means a vote or two.

Didn't a rebulican news caster claim that the health bill was just a way for the black president to get back at white America for the slave trade?? Wasnt he also called Racist on Fox news by some fat white guy so there hase been racist remarkes made about Obama.

The guy was elected because he was black. It surely wasn't experience, or talent. The one single reason he was elected was because he was black. In my book, (and the dictionary) that is racist. You do know that blacks are generally racists don't you? If 98% of blacks voted for the guy there's only one reason they voted for him. Sorry if that bothers you, deal wid it. Oh, and their favorite hero Martin Luther King, was a republican, as were most blacks in his day. Because democrats were the slavery party, and then when they lost the civil war, they became the KKK party (see Robert Byrd).

"It's still a violation of federal law," said Jeffrey Sweetin, the DEA special agent in charge of the Denver office. "It's not medicine. We're still going to continue to investigate and arrest people."
The United States Attorney's office will decide Tuesday if charges will be filed against Bartkowicz.
In an interview from his jail cell, Bartkowicz said he believes the DEA is making an example of him. He would never have exposed himself if he believed his business was illegal.
"If I knew what I was doing was illegal, I would have never made a public display of myself," he said. "I would not have put myself in the line of fire if I was knowingly violating the law."
Sweetin wasn't surprised by Bartkowicz' confidence.
"According to him and according to what he's seen on the news, he probably believes he is legal," Sweetin said.
And according to Sweetin, it isn't just growers who face arrest. The dispensaries are next on the list.

Wrong. He was elected for one single reason. The stats prove it out. And that "profit" you hate, gave you everything you have. It surely wasn't theft (socialism) that created prosperity. Individuals working in their own self interest created prosperity for all. Socialism creates two things, misery & death. Both the beneficiary of the theft and the victim of the theft lose.

This thread is about who turned THE PEOPLE against legalization, not any of the straw men the right wing keeps bringing up to distract from the simple straightforward facts. The Reagan administration was when the public tides turned away from legalization, and it was because the administration had that as an agenda.

He was elected solely based on race. A hidden resume, no job to speak of, ever. No past success in anything. A voting history of voting "present" in Illinois. Never wrote a bill in his life. Never did anything that isn't now top secret. Including his fricking school grades. Yeah, its real hard to peice together that he was elected only because he was black.
Harry Reid says he has one other talent, the ability to turn on and off the black dialect as needed. I don't consider that to be a qualification to be president. Apparently the party of slavery (and Cheech and Chong) do.
