hey man,i just run a 3x3 tent with a cooltube 600 watt with large adjusta shade,in the last run i spoke of i flowered out three mother plants in 5gal coco hempy buckets,i wasnt realy goin for max yeild as it was just a test run with the coco hempy style. this run im growin a single plant in the same setup and iv trained it to fill the space im almost through the second week of flower and it looks like 10 oz could easily come from this lady.il let you know in a month or so how it goes. also iv switched to a single part coco nute from vitalink, and add pk13-14 plus au60root repair from nulife! this plant is healthier than my previous grow by far!

Its different because hes trying to do 10o without veg time its a little trickier.

1. I'm following the dutch masters chart on their site for 1 table, the other i use somebodies else formula for a base b/c not sure how i feel about the lucas formula(to my understanding it's for tomatoes??).
2. I've seen a couple replies now about a net or screen on top..how far should i space it from the top of the tray??
3. still a little afraid to try out the Co2, but maybe one day I'll build up the nerve lol
4. The current bulb in their now is a eye hortilux about 3 months old..no i do not clean the reflector every 2 weeks but will def start now(thanks for that one)
5. the pumps are on a 1 on 4 off cycle timer

1. Ok that should be good, let me know if you like Dutch Master better than AN
2. Buy the premade net sold in hydrostores and cut it to your tent size.
3. Use a Co2 Tank with a basic 15on/off timer theres no harm there.
4. Eye hortilux are good.
5. Perfect.

The only real problems i can see from your pics is that they are too stretched, nute burn. are you using ppm x5 or x7? Co2 can increase your yield by 30% if used correctly

this is true, I'm so experienced I pull pounds off 2 plants in a dark room using gatorade instead of water. :bis:

seriously though cabbage, from the look of your setup a screen isn't going to do much for you. you will just end up using less plants and having to veg.

When everything goes swell my AK-48 yields about half pound under 1/2 of a 600w with 4 weeks veg under T5s. I harvest about every 4-5 weeks. She is by far my best smelling and most potent pheno. I <3 ak-48

Your AK's look absolutely amaaaazing...you inspire me my friend...and you're right the smell of the 48 is very very strong lol

ItsGrowTime yeah the link sam posted was very informative, your setup is sweet!!...as soon as a table is free i'm going to be making some serious modifications..either going to go with a fence post setup similar to yours(probably will stay with the 360 sprayers) or gonna go with ebb an flow, but def from the replies on here I'm going to have to incorporate a veg time..as to how long I think I'm going to have to play around with a little and see.

Which brings me to another question, I know ebb and flow is probably easy to setup; but which do you guys think is a more efficient system, ebb and flow or a fence post type aero/nft setup??

again thanks for all your replies..you guys are being really helpful.

Ive never done plain ebb n flow so I can't give you any comparison thoughts but I can tell you that fence posts will grow awesome plants as long as you keep plenty of oxygen in the water, keep water temps right (iow take care of your roots) and keep a close eye on things. It is not for the lazy or if you want to go days without checking on your plants! The results are hard to beat though once dialed in.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions on build-out if you decide on a fence post type rig. Fill that tent up!

ItsGrowTime thanks buddy i may just go with the fence post idea once the tent is free.

Just wanted to give a quick update...they tray on the right that's running AN 3 part nutes are looking pretty good, and the other tray running dutch masters gold line looks ok to me, but doesn't seem as explosive as AN at the same stage, but we'll see at harvest time.

I gonna chop my 3rd tray down this weekend, and i think i'm gonna convert that tray to ebb & flow and do a run with a week to 2 week veg, and see how that goes.

Btw, in those pics above your plants look like they are clones from a revegging mother. Is this true? Only take clones from a mother plant that is completely vegging under 16/8 or more light hours and is actually growing in full veg phase. Your plants look like they were in flower previously, then revegged, then flowered again. That's mostly a no-no.

Yeah they were...I thought they had fully revegged, but doesn't look like it, and I can definitely tell a difference if growth (learned my lesson on that one)

Is that 1g/watt wet? The last pics i saw you post had your buds being weighed wet.

Yep, I did weigh wet just to see the difference. Tomorrow I will have the final weight when dry and all buds are now off stems. Preliminary weigh ins have it coming close, but not quite to 1g/watt.

Sweet, way to go! I look forward to seeing the final weigh in!

Thanks for the link Mike Seed...sweet looking grow, an inspiration indeed especially since I think I'm going to give ebb & flow a try next run...I'm really interested to see finial dry weight too.

Here are a couple pics of the 3rd tray as they are hanging.

My advice would be, not reading all the suggestions i might add; is that you have too few plants compared to grow style, either give em more veg time or increase the number of clones. Also your strain seems a tad leafy to be in a sog enviroment.

Yeah, you may have to get another strain. They should be huge bud sticks..with very few fan leaves. More clones, of a better yielding strain. Also, perhaps think about a SOG ebb and flow instead of the aero. Maybe you can make more room so you can veg longer, more clones, or a better yielding strain....while changing your nutes and adding CO2 to the mix. Although the CO2 is a bit far fetched for what you are doing.

Either way, your setup looks awesome. Mad props y0!

Some really good advice on this thread.... I don't think i saw anyone mention defoliation.... Looks like it could be of some help to free up some space taken by those large fan leaves... Its up in the stickies, check it out.
