Your Bank has Your FINGER Prints

Just got out of my bank here in good old Canada. And to be paranoid, not really just bored, I decided to burn my receipt the teller gave me. And with a little heat my complete finger prints where showing.
Now why does my bank want my finger prints??????????? Guess so I can't rob them. lol

they don't want your fingerprints. In some places for certain transactions they do need a thumbprint.

That's because the receipt paper uses thermal (heat) for printing. There is no ink, just heat. Your body heat combined with the fire made your prints visible, that's all.

i just did this with my grocery store receipt, seen my prints as well. its no big deal bud just the type of paper receipts are.
