Thrips

I have 5 ladys nearly 7 weeks into flowering in a grow tent,
I had been spraying untill week 5 and stopped. The infestation has got a whole lot worse now..

I have 3 things available to me.. ''Pest off'' Organic hydroponic spray - Starch based, Or PY spray which contains pyrethrins, or a quite toxic systemic spray which i really dont wanna use this late in flowering..

The PY spray was almost completly wiping them out untill i stopped spraying - 2 weeks later theyre back in full force. I have read Spinosad is excellent but isnt available in the UK.

Is it ok to use Pyrethrins based spray at 7 weeks on a 9 week strain?

Thanks

you should't use pyrethrum on flowering girls.....i to have a case like yours right now and i stopped at 6th week ...now i just pich of all the heavy infected leaves on a daily base....i suggest you do that too....:2cents:
afterwards bleach the room ..Hard....from top till bottom!

mmmmh no you should't ....higher risk of mold coz of the moist on the plants, not to mention the pyrethrum ....and you also don't need to pick the plant bold ...:)

Get something with Spinosad in it. Kills thrips dead. OMRI listed.
I use GreenLight Lawn and Garden.

Use Organocide. The only pesticide in my grow. It smells funky though. I even use it on my yard. It is also OMRI. After they are dead do a good rinse. If you have a lower RH, spraying during flowering with a lot of strains won't make a difference with 2 weeks left from what I have noticed.
