is this a hermie??

I'm fairly sure it is ,

it just doesn't go in my mind as why or how it happened.

ak48 regular seeds, and never before had this?

the plant is healthy non stressed and I was suspecting her in late veg , now it's day 4 flowering . and this is the only thing that looks male, I have checked the whole plant and all the other preflowers are female, so if it's a hermie this is the only male preflower on her at this moment.

I'd understand happening in flowering, but k'mon , hermie from day 1???

It could be new leaf growth but I doubt it.

Quite a sad moment , the healthiest one might be a shemale. ehhhh :/

pics, this is the only one on the whole plant:

hey man thanks for waving around my thread!!!

so if it's not a male preflower then what is it???

no no, of course I don't think those dried pieces are preflowers.

I do know pretty good how does a female look like.

Ran out of batteries , so this is the best I could get in this moment...
These are the other preflowers around the plant, a bit bad pic , but I'm more than 100% it's female preflowers...

what could it be growing there???...

I'd be really happy if she will be a 100% she.

again k+ and thanks for helping

I don't know it for sure but in this pic:

seems to be a little ball :(
Check it everyday...you will see soon if it's a she or a him\hermie

oh well she was the healthiest.

now the other one that I was sure it was female. I mean she has female preflowers everywhere, then showed me this. so I'm a bit unsure on it too.

If even this one is hermie, then I have only one left and she is not so big.

help?

it is pear shaped. but im fairly sure it has a small stick.. . but it doesnt really look the classic male and no clusters and its day 6 flowering.

i have pretty bad luck with these seeds eh..

I don't think that there is any definitive sign of sex in these pics. You should wait it out; don't panic and start chopping.

haven't chopped anything yet..

but moved into much less light the suspected 1...
we'll see ... woooho at least 1 is 100% female

batboy, anything on a stick is automatically a male preflower? pear shaped but seems like a little stick,

well c in a few days

I don't think that's a pre-flower. I could be wrong though. Now you got me interested in seeing the whole plant. Looks healthy!

Males are typically larger than females in my experience, so they can cover them in pollen I suspect.... Kinda look stronger too, easy to read as 'healthier'....

That little thing does look like an underdeveloped nanner.... I would just keep a close eye....

probably one of the best plants I ever had lol (and surely the biggest), if only she'd be a real she !! (still alive , but today might get the cut)

yup almost 100% now she is a hermie

Not herms and I believe both are males. Sorry. Female preflowers tend to form much closer to the main stem.

thanks for the input, but wrong.
this is from the second plant (the 2nd suspected one)

If you look good at the last node in the pic upwards, you can see tiny white hairs, and this is not the only one preflower havin them.

I'm pretty sure she is very female, eventually we will c, but I'm not worried about her.

killer macro

Lets say for arguments sake that you do have a really nice plant
that first shows female traits then grows some balls many days
into flowering. Can you just grow it out, cut off as many balls as you
can, and take your losses with a seedy harvest? I mean, I know you
can, but is this a viable option?

I am still stuck with bag seed but I have had one successful grow and I got
5 females from the 15 I started. The males showed first, as I think they
always do ( right? no?) but I have never encountered a Hermie.
*Knock on wood* I wish I could get an invite into the bag seed club.

It's definitely an option to grow out a hermie to harvest and risk pollination. That's probably what happened in the case of some of the bagseeds you are growing out. Growing bagseeds is a good way to get experience under your belt, and you can find keepers in the process.
