As long as people keep buying the left and right distractions all of the above politicians will have you right where they want you-distracted and out of their way. They're all really on the same team anyhow.

Bro, here it is for me in a nutshell, If I could truely be assured that Sarah at the very least would move for Medical MJ being legal in all states, and support the movement for full legalization, I'd vote for her, hell, I'd even go out and knock on doors and try to get other people to vote for her.
MMJ is the issue that affects me most, so I'm for whoevers for it.
And I really don't think she will ever be.
I would think that would be an important issue to everyone on this board.

In that case, as an admitted former user, she supports medical marijuana. And governed in a state that has medical marijuana. The marxist is busting and jailing people as we speak. Something ELSE he lied about btw.

Was she Governor when it passed? MMJ in Alaska?
Or did she inheirit an already established law?

Looked into it for myself, and nope, she wasn't.
It was passed by a voter based initative in 1998

She was governor in 2006, had nothing to do with it.

Here's her comment on her former use
"Palin has said she smoked marijuana but didn't enjoy it and doesn't smoke anymore."

And I couldn't find anything on her "support" for it

I thought that the whole idea here was to discuss where or not SP would be a mj reformer, and she was asked to speak by Nevada NORML I could be wrong about who asked). The question was would she support mj by speaking in favor for fee as she did for the wine and alcohol spirits convention. They paid here 100K for a ramble speech which had her same old bullet points. As for her support for mj it ain't going to happen, The fee she was offered was to low according to her spokes person, and the organizers said they don't have enough to meet her fee. The whole ida was to see if she would support something for money, it doesn't matter what the cause is, they wee seeing if she was selling her name to the highest bidder in spite of her personal beliefs, which seem to be what ever the group thats paying he to speak wants to hear. She is speaking somewhat more knowledgeable (barely) only because she now has coaches that feed her the talking points,But support mj legalization fat chance unless she's paid a bunch, she's in it for the money.

Just like snoop dee oh double gee?
Sure, I don't smoke anymore. But I don't smoke any less, either.

ETA: I've read this thread before, and hope I didn't come off as some wise acre troll. I hope she does it. Like her or hate her, the media follows her, and this will beam questions about legalization to many living rooms. I hope that the debate stays alive and active, and the people keep throwing it in the politicians faces. Eventually someone is going to realize that a rather large portion of the public enjoys a good burn every now and then. Then their tune will change.

The truly amazing thing is that despite the hard work of the World's Independent Investigative Jornalists to uncover the system that actually runs the US, you guys still believe politics are your answer. Despite all the evidence to the contrary.

If I were running things behind the scenes I'd want everyone to focus their time and energy on using your political system to achieve change too.

So, is Sarah an idiot?

She claims to read several newspapers but can't name one. I guess that's pretty lame.

ref - "All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years." --Sarah Palin, unable to name a single newspaper or magazine she reads, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008 (video link - http://politicalhumor.about.com/gi/.../09/30/sarah-palin-answers-what_n_130706.html)

I recommend anyone who wants to know more about her to use the web, like others have said, google her quotes, it's pretty sad.

Old time lurker gets it.
Many of you are hung up on the spin. You are gargling it.

Many of you have too much ignorant hate in your brains to be of any real value to the cause. Much of the reason MJ remains a tabooed societal evil is due to exactly the sort of stupid shit we see and read in this thread.
I hope y'all are proud of yourselves.
Thing is, your ignorance is driving our nation into the muck. Not Bush, not Obama, but YOU ignorant people that wear #3 size hats.
The left and it's minions are killing us for sure...and I think MJ is the least of our worries if the intelligence that is shown here is any indication of the rest of the Nation.

Wise up folks.

Jeez! That googling turned into a disaster. BTW - what kind of a question is that? What newspapers do you read? She must have just come off an interview with the marxist where her big question was what is your favorite color.

I mean really! The guy don't know he's the president, and doesn't know there aren't 57 states, thinks theres a magician living in outer space! Is he the dumbest thing since the global warming hoax, or what?

hkush, we all know that only the left can be hypocrites without judgment.
And they are very damn good at it.

The 57 state thing shows a severe detachment. It was real, and Obama actually said it.
Not like the dinosaur thing that the stupid people chant.
And we have this guy as President?
Where are you stone throwers on shit like this?
I'll tell you where... sitting in the corner gargling more spin.

Man, you are talking to a Christian. You got a problem with that?
What have I done to discredit myself? State my position on things in a rational manner, and calling them exactly how I see them, without pulling punches? Is that what has you doubting me now?

What is you peoples hang up with the hatred and divisions?

No wonder things are all fucked up.

you're right man, I was rude. I was sort of tongue in cheeking my laughter at your defense of Sarah because she's so bleedingly obviously not up to the challenge

politicians are actors, and she can't remember her lines

worse yet, she sucks at trying to coverup, perhaps the biggest crime in world politics

I actually do respect people strong enough to stand tall amidst overwhelming criticism

k+ you bro
