what do u think about it ? its cheap and working ...

4x26w cfl for veg and 4x26w cfl for flowering
im just grownig for myself and the cab is easy to hide (maybe behind a 2nd wall in a closet)

so what do u think?

At 1/5 the cost of the other one you were looking at I'd say it's not bad.
And if it turns out to be a complete POS, well you only spent $240/270 on it, not that big of a loss.
I'm not I pre made box expert, I make my own, but for the money it looks ok.
I'd look at an alternative to the odor gel they give you with it though.

i need some threads about growing with 104w of cfls so i can compare

with the 20cm x 40cm i could squeeze 8 10x10cm pots in there

I have 4x26W CFL in my veg cab right now. Exhausting with a PC fan and my temps stay about 7 deg. F over room temp.

Here is that same cab rocking 7 plants all at once with 6x26w bulbs. For me, this was an absolutely maxed out chamber. I could have fit 2 more in there if these were in smaller pots, methinks.



Here it is with fewer lights going.

definitely not worth it. with 240, i could build 3-4 cabs that same size with the same materials if not more.

and although its a pc case, it doesnt look like a pc at all, so you might aswell get a cab and stack them and go for broke

its not a pc case the site is just called that cuz they were one of the first selling pc growcases

and building things is always a madness in my hands lol

The last box he was looking at was something like $1250
So $240's not so bad in comparison, plus not everyones that great at building stuff themselves.

I think if he insists on getting a pre made box instead of making his own, at least he's looking at spending a more sensible amount of money then before for it.

And if you really don't care about spending a big bunch of money on a box, I like these guys, I came very close to buying a used BCN producer a while ago.

got a job and should be able to buy the cab soon (just need to find a good way to hide it)
