hey bro been waiting for an update.

Dont get worried yet about no color they will show soon enough, the males indoors show very good color later on in flowering. Outside they show sooner, prolly due to larger temp differences each day. JEMS is genetically purple, but cooler temps do seem to intensify the coloring a bit. In the next 3 weeks your female and males will show color.

I assume you are going to pollenate her??? If so make sure it is around week 6 where she is at her peak of production of flowers. You know how to make the males take that long before they release pollen??

Well i don't have any method persay of getting them to drop later. What i am going to do is put them into an old fridge (it's broken) with a CFL, and leave them in beer cups. Previous times it's worked out great. Anything that drops i will freeze in crio with my other pollen.

What method do you use ICC?

She won't get a full pollenation, i'd like to save the top cola for a smoke test So once some of the lower branches are nice and advanced i will hit them up. I am happy with 50 seeds from one female. Anything that ends up beeing a nice pheno, i'd then run as many of the seeds i got (at once). To then do a proper seed run of that pheno.

well first I keep them in 16oz cups, i cut all preflowers off letting the top get as big as possible before I have to cut it off completely,, then I let the next set of branches do the same and so on,, if you do this by week 6 you will be left with only the very bottom branches by this time they are very large due to the topping and will produce enough pollen to make 1000s of seeds. But at the correct time.

Update time, i am a week late, but isn't that life?
Not much to report, the lone lady is going to be a bud stick i think. I hope she will yeild to her full potential. The males are all gone, i have pollen frozen. It appears that the lone jem this run is very pollenated, so i am going to let her finish as is so i can get some test bud to smoke.
She is also going to make the move to the 600 watt room shortly. I am making room in there tomorrow.
The next run of jems will be started in a week or so. That grow will also be documented here.

i think it coulda grown a whole lot more if the medium were kept more moist while it was starting out. the roots of the autos like alot of moisture early on while its establishing

In the case of this plant the size has nothing to do with the moisture early on. You want as many wet/dry cycles as you can, not constant wet. The roots follow the moisture, so the soil has to dry. That is how you grow big plants. If anything the 2gal grow bag is now hampering the growth because it isn't drying fast enough.

The males were tripple the size of this one and they were in beer cups the whole time. It is just a dwarf pheno. This isn't my first run with autos.... Thanks for the visit! I will be poping some more jems shortly, to add to the thread. I will get some better eye candy going for everyone.

This was a pretty shite run of JEMS, if you were looking for buds. I found one good male who smells just like the female. The green skunky lemon phenos are where the potent JEMS are anyways. So i am going in the correct direction how-ever painfull it may seem. Mossy has laid out the road map pretty clear. The purple ones are for looks more than anything.


I will get some pics up tomorrow, she is in the 12/12 room which is lights out ATM. Not much has changed, she is a little more frosty. Stinks like a mother F'r. seriously in the same catagory as some skunks i've run. Moving her around is bliss.

These are the JointDr JEMS. Which are the same as Mossy JEMs. The Dr did not ripp off mossy everything was approved..

These seeds are supposed to be even more selected on the side of color. So it is suprising that i got none. I have been trying to find other results to see if anyone else is seeing so much green.

The WHITES have better pain-meds for MY syptoms.
Nerve pain..spacticity..muscle spasms.
BUT..that is Contrary to Most Med info available.
Most recommend high CBN..
I need high THC.

IMO...for My Meds..I want an Ultra strong Afghan dom taste/high.
I get...
70-75% of that in the Dark Purple
80-85% in the mixed/light purple or Reds
90-95% in the White.

Anyways. I only took one pic of the lone flowering JEM. She is no longer the "Lone" JEM as i poped my other 10pack all 10 poped over night. One is not going to make it, the shell didn't split properly so i'll have to try and free it. The rest are going into cups right away.

The smelly, can't wait to smoke what ever i get JEM! She is maybe 6 inches tall. Loving the 12/12 and the 600HPS, she's going through a bit of a strech now that i moved her over here. As-well as buds getting dense now that i have proper penetration from the 600.


And since i was in the room and this thread is in dire need of some bud porn i thought i'd snap some shots of the cat piss kush i have that is near done. DAAAANNKKKK!!!!! This stuff is instant lights out. Bed meds for me and the boss.

Anonamix: I don't know much about the cat piss kush. I got it as a cutting from an old electrician i met on the job site a few years ago. He could smell the kush on me after lunch, so long story short we swapped some bud. His was amazing, i've been smoking for 15 years and i have never had anything mess me up like this stuff. Reluctantly he parted with a lone cutting, not even rooted. I was lucky it even took.

It takes for ever to veg... This one plant took 8 weeks to get over 24 inches tall. It is pure indica, no stretch at all, nugs are massive and hard as rocks. Usually done in under 70 days, if you go over 80 you better wear a bib to catch drool. Not as frosty as some strains i've run but it doesn't need frost to knock you on your ass. I want to cross it with my auto AK male, maybe instill some vigor.

It smells kind of floral with skunky/amonia smells. On the inhale it is smooth with a floral skunk taste, the smoke expands in the lungs you get massive exhale clouds. The buds don't much have that kushy coffe bean smell, more of the cat piss amonia smell. Smells right through what ever your storing it in.. Tripple quad bagging is needed.

You are thinking cat piss.. yumm, it's realy quite pallitable, and pleasant.
