A few more quotes from others I read earlier below. Unfortunately the bill is not all it cracked up to be. People really need to read the bill, don’t blame it on ignorance later when you get finger fucked by big business! Legalized doesn’t mean legalized, really it’s going to directly benefit only big business and pharmaceutical companies not the little guys. Only difference is they control it all unlike now.

“Unfortunately since NORML and the ASA receive the majority of their funding from people like George Soros they have a vested interest in protecting and promoting the rights of corporations who wish to privatize cannabis cultivation, distribution and sales. These groups are no longer supporting the rights of individuals to cultivate medical cannabis for themselves. It’s the reason so many states that have recently or are considering legalizing medical cannabis are making it a serious crime to cultivate for yourself, which requires patients to be dependent on state approved medical cannabis. There’s a movement all across this country to legalize medical or recreational cannabis while re-criminalizing or seriously limiting personal cultivation. How dare the people enjoy or medicate themselves without paying taxes or supporting corporate agriculture”.

“Really? Millionaires like rich lee and Jeff Jones, who have made their fortunes in the medical marijuana industry, are soliciting your support ($) to help them make even more money. Really? With the financial backing and support of billionaires like George Soros, they need to ask us for support? Really? Not only do they want to expand and control of one of the last free unregulated economies, they want you to help pay for it? Really”?

The whole "we don't want more taxes!" argument is complete bullshit.

You guys are fucking disgusting. You would rather have potentially innocent people imprisoned because of your own greed.

DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY TAX DOLLARS ARE BEING WASTED ON IMPRISONING PEOPLE?

Imagine all those people getting out of jail. Your state would save millions of dollars a day.

But you'd rather line your own pockets then help others.

i have my own collective..........

You are just admitting you are greedy with this statement, mr. drug dealer.

Really, yeah come in here with some facts instead of hearsay. The proposed legislation will keep medical marijuana laws intact, will allow all people of 21 or older (just like alcohol) to smoke, possess an ounce outside of their home, will allow you to grow in a 25 sq. ft. area (with no limits to vertical in the legislation). So yes it really will help a tremendous amt. of people the demand will go up so prices will take a while to drop and even then I only see a 15-25% drop in prices on medicine. If you say 25 sq. ft. isn't enough you can easily harvest more than 4 ounces in that area every week and even more if you extend your grow area to the ceiling.

So you need to go look at the legislation again and remember no matter what no legislation will pass without some vested economic incentive for wealthy people!!

The bottom line is you can do that now with a medical card right? Even if the bill passes which it won’t cities like now can still have city wide bans. It’s all in the bill go read it. Don’t whine if you’re stuck in a state that doesn’t allow it. Move to one that does card up and grow your allotted amount per state regulations and be happy. Again the whole problem with this unfortunately is the schedule 1- schedule 2 drug classifications. That is where the problems start and end with this bill.

I don’t doubt it will be legalized but not for another 20+ years imo. With that we live under probation like times as our grandparents and great grandparents did during the early 1900’s
