add back question

Using the lucas and wanted know when i add back do i ph the water before or after i add to my rez? If i use the add back with nutes do i add nutes to water then dump to rez ? Or top off add nutes then check ph? Sorry was never very good at reading comprehension!!!

ph'ing should be the last thing ya do. after ya mix everything up, let it sit for a couple of minutes before measuring and adjusting ph. most all hydro nutes have various buffers but it takes a few minute for everything to equilibrate.

I leave my nute and plain water at high ph, then I mix and add them to my res, and the water adjusts my res up. This way I do not use much ph down. Depends on your water.

The idea for the add back is to take your pH stabilized water and add your nutes to the calculated measure. When you add back to the rez you're adding pH stabilized nute solution.
