made some hash...?

i ordered a 125 micron screen online, and sifted my trim through it. got about two ounces of keif.

my "hash" didn't turn brown, it's kind of a greenish color, smells awesome, and got me ripped with two hits.

but my question is, why didn't it turn brown like all the other hash i see? after i had it in the oven for about ten minutes, i took it out and rolled it for a half hour, it was this color, so i put it back in for another ten, rolled it again, same thing, then a final ten minutes, rolled it again, and it's still like this.

it's solid, like other hash, just smells like weed, and is greenish in color.

I have found that when I sift too long or too roughly the color is more green. Also a screen that is worn from lots of use or one that is too large to begin with can allow more contaminates resulting in a green color.

I don't know what size my screen is so I cant help you there but 125 might be a bit large. maybe next time you can run it through a second, smaller mesh screen like 75 to 100?



I wouldn't worry about it much though. That hash looks great!

I don't see why not. I sure would buy it.

Hash helps my severe pain so much, it would be a shame to have that much available that you can part with and not be able to help some one with it.

Maybe the pics don't show the color accurately but it does not even look green to me.

Seems worth a try to me.

your kif is not *pure enough* to make the black style of hash.
if you have a grinder with a kif collector at the bottom threw a screen.
this type of kif works good to get the black hash.

One of my bags turned out pretty green, but as I let it dry in the sun, turned a very nice color.
