paco makes Qwiso.

So i grew out this early skunk chemdd seed. Some of you may have some in the back of your fridge. I got several females, in search for a early finishing chem that would be done in CO before halloween. That was no the case for this plant. It took 80 days and had another week to go.
The smoke was nice, strong and cerebral. But the flavor was a no go in my book. Similar a well grown mexican brick. After it cured for a couple months it smelled alot like oranges.
anyhoo, bored with the smoke i made some qwiso with it.
I did two washes.
first; the second wash. which came out much blacker.

The First wash was amazing, the oil came out really amber. as you can see...

The camera is a 10x sony 12 pixel, or something to that effect. it has a great macro and super macro setting that works well in good light. killed my relationship,yet it takes great pictures. worthy trade off, after my experience.

i made some more today from a mix of shake and trim. came out really oily.
I also made some with a small amount of "coffee" hash, which came out red.

the longer you shake your trim, the darker it will be. Try using less time washing, you'll get less hash, but it will be more amber and also more potent. That last shot you posted looks good.

Good job non the less, I really like that Banana...Is it Banana OG?

thanks. I shake for 15 to 18 seconds. I thinkt the amount of alocohol factors in on the color too.
it's banana kush. or thats what it was given to me as. probably the same though.

Looks nice, Paco. We make a lot of qwiso. A year or two ago we got talked into buying a bho tube....I think we used it three times. A proper, super quick wash done on a good starting material is hard to beat imho.

Sometimes we will just break up a few buds in the filter and pour the iso over them for the first wash. Not a great yield that way but good for your head.

I use a coffee filter, but am moving on to a silk screen.
I found another pheno that makes better iso and grows in 50 days!
and it's from the same Es x cDD x Es seeds.

Wow! That is a long soak. I normally don`t soak for longer than 30 seconds tops.
