Maybe grinding is better than chopping? If you cut a leaf of lettuce with a knife the cut leaf edge will go bad faster than if you tear it due to the cell walls getting chopped, when torn, the edges tend to separate at cell wall boundaries and it stays fresher a lot longer. Chopping bud in a food processor or blade grinder may break open the cell walls exposing the contents to a higher likelyhood of being extracted.

^^^not the same for dry leaf when you are talking about cut leaves go bad faster. Worse case scenario if you had to, chopped up is better than ground up. If I chop something I use something like a slap-chop manual chopper.

if you grind it up your oil is much darker and tastes crappier by far. cutting into chunks and other manual seperation methods that dont produce a o lot of powedered material will produce oil pretty much exactly the same as whole bud. the more powder you have, the darker the oil. dont grind your oil if you want it to be tasty.

okay - but i use a filter in my tube...its like a coffee filter!! all the powder is on it!! and my oil turns out golden mostly

i use coffee filter too. if its nice fresh bud, cutting it up and stuff wont make as many tiny particles, and it doesnt affect oil quality or color much. older really dry bud, or trim, if it is too crushed and there is a lot of powder in the tube, will make the oil much darker and not as tasty.

grind them up!! or cut them in small pices!! i can not understand why it will make a dif. in quality....only the trims will be wash out!!
i noticed when i did not grind them up, the trimms inside the buds were all sill there after the bho rum....btw i use 3 cans per run!!!
by busting up your product you are alowing more chlorophil to be extrcted with the erlls that being said you will have a worse product too many plant sugers and wat not should always use full nugs or small nugs never broken up nug imo.. and 3 cans per run?????????? i hope you have 3 ounces or so in a tube if not you are using way to much tane i use about a hlf can per half ounce!!:)

its wast of weed!!! as i was invited from soma we did a bho run!! he grind it up...of course not to dust...but i a big grinder a half to one turn...!!
I use about 2,5 cans for 15-20g....hammer why not try both methods????
what i was told the trims need some time to frez and than some time to wash out the heads!! and presure is also usefull!!
i did about 100 bho runs...ones for sure...if you make bho will hole buds the field is way less...and in my eys the quallity will not getting worser!!!
but when you will smoke the weed after the run...take hole buds!! i put my i the trash...or in the bubbelbagBudsBOX!!
and if buds are as compact as your isnt i logical to grind them up.....and grinding in my eys is better as cutting it in small chunck..as said not to dust!!

Dense bud have to be open otherwise capillary effect will prevent extraction.
More accurate way is to disassemble every bud using manicure scissors to remove bud's stalk to separate into elementary clusters or even individual calyxes..
Not sure about pressure. This amber was achieved in 10 minutes washing in open pyrex-teapot at athmospheric pressure, butane "London", temp.outside +14C (57F).
This absolute is made from SK female plants after their turning into ladyboys with CS and giving 2cc+ of fem pollen.

the coin is russian 10 копеек its diameter is 17,5mm (~0,7").

Nevertheless poor income material gives green into bho.

I think you misunderstand, I'm not talking about cannabis going bad, I was referring to the breaking of the vegetative cell walls and the liberation of the contents within, e.g. waxes, chlorophyll, etc..

I just ran 18g with 1 can of vector. I did notice when I took the bud out of the tube the bud was all sticky.

I got it sorted. I was not using enough Tane. I need 1.5 cans after the firt run the buds where all sticky so the second run I used 1/2 can more and no more sticky buds. I lost alot of yield from my first batch. I only used 2 small cans of Colibri and that was not enough.

I should do well this time.
