flushing nutes at week 3 flower

Hi
I was flushing last night with normal water and used an EC meter to test the drain!
DAMN it maxed out my EC meter. Anyway i flushed for an hour and it finally went down to about 600-700ppm.
Is it important to flush down to about 400ppm? or my water ppm??
I have water restrictions in my country and with the 3x your pot. Then in total i have 250litres , so that means i'd need 700 litres!!

What was going on with your plant that you felt the need to flush?

Goofy-don't panic. Coir is wierd when it comes to run off levels etc. It can be alarming. I measured some of the run off from my plants recently and it was between EC 2.5 -3.0 (thats about 2000ppm i think) ph6.0-ok i have given them a few light feeds since but no heavy flushing. This has happened to me before and everythings been cool. All that continual flushing could screw things up IMO-

goofy 81 i must agree with eddie s dont flush to much,canna says on there web site to ignore the runoff as it doesnt give a true statement of whats happening in the pots.
just keep your nutes low and ph around 5.8 and everything will be fine. stay lucky

Worry about what goes in, not what comes out. Give them what they want, and base your actions on how your plants are responding, not numbers on a meter.
