WHY DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS STUFF????

I have not heard good about pH, they done balance themselves out.

if this is true this may be the reason why it's not popular. With GH you can just dose RO (or Tap/RO) and know that the ph will be in range.

So then I ask, what's the deal with pH from yous that are using it currently?

I contacted someone at Dyna-Gro and they gave me tons of info... here's what I was able to gather. PPMs are based on 10ml/gallon application rate.

Dyna-Gro Liquid Grow 7-9-5

Dyna-Gro Liquid Bloom 3-12-6

Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro 9-3-6

Dyna-Gro All Pro 7-7-7

Dyna-Gro Hi-N-Pro 10-5-5

And their recommended feeding schedules...

Now to make some spreadsheets...

Ph is extremely important in soil, kinda important in coco and rockwool, and far less important in a recirculating system. Long story short. Soil PH should be about 6.8, coco should be about 6.2-6.5, and recirculating you can get down to about 5.8.

PH is extremely important no matter what medium you're using. I can't speak on the topic of soil, but for coco I would NOT recommend 6.2-6.5... a better range would be 5.5-6.2.

I'm happy to have a civil debate but when you open up by calling me a fool I'm going to disregard pretty much everything else you have to say.

I see you've since edited out some of your insults, but I've also checked back and it seems that at least 20% of your posts are nothing more than attacks on other members that disagree with you.

Just curious... how are you measuring the PH of your coco?

THE PH GETS LOWER AND LOWER AS THE COCO DRIES. IF YOU START AT 5.2 YOU ARE DOWN TO 4.8 BY THE NEXT TIME YOU WATER.
What are you talking about here, if you're only talking about measuring nutrient solution before you water? That's the only time I measure as well, I have a drip based system, and I start the nutes off at 5.5 and they work their way up until the next time I add in more 5.5 nutes, never getting higher than 6.0-6.2, and if they do get in that range, I add in some PH down.

acting like a know it all douche is no way to make friends

If only I was so desperate for friends that I would come on ICMAG to meet people, then I might keep that in mind. Im going to put an end to this. Yes I am an angry guy. Yes I call people liberal douche bags. Yes most people on here have NO idea what they are talking about. Yes when I said the Ph drops over time I was talking about within the medium. If you want to continue to let your coco go down 5.5, enjoy, but I again challenge you to find me one place that recommends a Ph that low for coco. If you could find SOMETHING you really could help your case a lot. Also, still no response on why Ph is "extremely important in any growing medium". It is quite obvious you know very little and you must be a little girl because you are so easily offended and had to go tell a moderator on me to get me in trouble. BOOHOO. You are one of the kids in school nobody likes because they are a tattle tale (and im the kid in class who doesn't give a damn what other kids think because I know most of them are morons and the people who aren't morons agree with me)

wow, did this thread go off subject!

personally, i like to have my ph drift for a start of 5.6-5.8 and let it go to 6.4 max in coco, makes sure i hit every nutrient at there peak level. i know the plants love it..........

ya they say it is best to have a drifting ph. Also from watching all the GH utube vid's they always raise the ph by .2 or .3 just after transition during full bloom. Alot of new research i have read in indoor growing mag's seems to be saying ph between 5.5 - 6 but i have always found my girls seem to like it between 5.8 - 6.3 in peatmoss

I went off the handle a few times when i received neg rep's, but it only got me more neg reps so recently I have been cooler. As cooler heads prevail. not worth hurling insults, stoners seem to rally against it even if you have a point.

Cant wait till my next grow, I think I am going to jump on the Dyna Gro Bandwagon. My current and first grow is being fed B.M.O. Nutrients. The plants seem to be doing well, minus one that looks to be having some issue I haven't figured out yet. Seems like Dyna Gro products might help compinsate for my tan thumb.

I like Dynagrow's simple regiment. KLN is a great rooter. pro-tekt is a decent silicate, and their neem is straight up neem with none the BS of being a better neem than the $30 competitor. I used their 1 part to bloom w before and I honestly don't remember why I changed. I think it was just having the ability to tweak my formulas based on my plant needs would of been the only benefit to a 3 part style fert. that or supernaturals terra bloom powder is some good stuff right there!~

i switched to AN's rhino skin, its higher quality and much more concentrated. it says to use for the first 6 weeks of flowering, which i find very odd. i used to get major lockout from using a lot of silica in flowering and has since really backed down on it. i still use it every other res change, at half strength, till week 4 most likely. but it dosent raise the ph!

i will be switching back to dyna grow protekt, unless i find something else that raises ph and is more concentrated.....
