MJ that acts like a big booty chick is all you can ask for!

Went in there this morning and raised the lights a few inches. These girls are really stretching.

What's wrong with you guys?

Give me a tight little petite booty hanging high and tight all day long over some dump truck who's a$$ you can see from the front.

This is my favorite grow on Icmag atm, keep up the good works and pics.

u dun did gud dud, strains suitable for a pimp

edit: I don't use PVC in my grow because its whats responsible for the toxic outgassing in old model grow tents... I have a similar idea for modular vert scrogs mounted on pots, but i have to find a material, probly wood

Hey Nugget... I thought about the pvc off gassing thing, but I've been using pvc for frames for a while with no problems at all.
The shower liner on my floor is also made with pvc.

The girls are still stretching and starting to get crazy in there again. I've been having to re-fill the rez alot sooner as well. They are eating/drinking like the big girls they are.
Some of the fans on the big girls in the back are growing into the light again. Didn't I just fix that?

I'm going to move some of the pots around so that all the tall girls are in the back and the shorties in the front. The back light is gonna get raised up again soon.

I'm also noticing the BOG L.S.D stems are getting fat as hell. All the way up to the top of the cola. Biggest stems I ever had that far up a plant. Hopefully that means they're gettin ready to put on some weight.

They're on day 17 right now and I'm really thinking about doing the pruning when the lights come back on today...

Great grow man!! I was wondering about the temps in your room. How much above ambient is it? Where exactly is your reservoir for the blumats? What was your average yeild per plant on your previous run? I'm about to construct my 9.5x5 room and I'm thinking about going vertical. Do you think two 1000w would be efficient for the space I'm using?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions..

I don't have any experience with 1k lights so I can't really comment on them. My 400's don't give off very much heat. The fans in the room handle the heat they put off easily. They come on at nite so the room is usually around 70f. I'm more worried about the recent heat waves making my daytime temps go up.
The blumat rez is right outside the room. A feed line has been run thru the wall.
I did not weigh the results from the last run.

Looking good, you flowered them at the perfect size.

:tiphat:
I think I flipped the switch at the right time, but I should have continued to weave them thru the screen for another week or more. I let em loose too early and now they are a lil out of control.
Live and learn I guess.

****PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME*****

****PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME*****

You can see these plants are still stretching. The trim job they rec'vd a few days ago had no ill effect.
Here is what it looked like on day 17.

I tried to wait until day 21 to trim, but some of these girls needed it bad.
Some were trimmed severly, some just minor trims.

Here we have my Cherry OG #1. She's a hefty one.
I gave her a pretty severe trim. Took clones from the bottom half and removed all of her big fan leaves. I left the small fans on.

AFTER

The light penetrates this plant alot better than before. All the budsites can now receive more light. The lower half wouldn't have produced much anyway.
I'm hoping this will be all branches of bud.

Not all the girls got chopped as much as the Cherry OG did. Some looked a bit underdeveloped and will get trimmed more next week.

Here is what the room looked like after the trim.

I don't expect all the strains to respond well to this style of growing, but I'm sure a couple will. Those that do will be run again.

We'll see how they look next week.

step into the arena is a great album!
you are going good work here marlo :) that trim is crazy... will be fun to see their responses...
i ran 2 LSD's from the most recent release and got two nice ladies.... one was more squat and super finiky about ferts, soil, but turned out nice.... other was SUPER lanky and would yield very very nicely in your situation... i saved it...gonna run it vert with a 600 in the near future. will run it outside also... so i wanna see what you can do!

We think alike Okie.
I actually just finished running this setup with 15 plants.
6 on each side, 1 on each end, and 1 in the middle. Making the figure 8.
It got over crowded fast, and the fan leaves overlapping became a big problem. I decided to remove 2 plants that were not performing well which left me with 13.
5 on each side, 1 on each end and 1 in the middle. This looked alot better......until I harvested.
It turned out that the plant in the middle did very well, but it took light away from the middle 2 plants on the sides which would have been in the sweet spot between the 2 lights.
I had a shitload of larf and light airy buds.
So I decided to leave this run more open. With this setup the plants on the sides that are in between the 2 lights will get hit with light from both lamps.

i've been running a single vert room, but am planning a double vert room similar to this, so good looking out with the info.

Wow...with the plants being that close...you aren't having issues? How are you keeping the girls from getting too hot next to the bulbs? I've got verts with parabolics and they would get way too hot.
