2 days later.. im using a 400 watt halide for my veg atm.. just regular miracle grow potting soil, superthrive, and all purpose plant food from miracle gro atm.. i dont intend on using this through there full cycle but im looking for some different nutes for them, just not sure where to start, the miracle gro im using is 24-8-16 which seems ok for vegging them..

Once the roots get going they really take off nice. It only gets more fun from here on out. Good luck with your first grow Chloro87.

be careful with miraclegro soil unless it's the organic (which i have used all grow with no problems that weren't my own fault) because it usually runs hot and will burn seedlings. how do you feel about buying stuff from hydro shops?

i have no problem at all with hydro shops, i am a medical marijuana patient and caregiver to myself. :tiphat: i have 2 local hydro / indoor gardening shops here.

Not sure on the math, or how many 3 gallon pots I usually get out of a bag of soil, but soil is cheap. Just buy more than you'll need. If you've got left over use it on your next grow. and consider it a saved trip. Sorry that's not more specific.
