What type of documents to display outside of your legal MMJ grow room

Dude why would you not want to be there when this shit goes down?

I would strongly advise you be there if you haven't informed your landlord of this, just out of respect if anything. Plus you're more likely to diffuse the situation if you're there...

Just have the documents in a folder, what kind of douche pastes them to a tent???

ALL DID GO WELL.

thanks to everyone who had constructive things to say. to all of you that were DB's, u know who you are.

So, i was not home when they came by today. I was not home on purpose because if i were then there would not be much reason for me keeping the door locked would there? Best option was always that the door stays shut. And a high chance that they dont want to make another trip out to this house to see just one room. The tax guy or whatever got his fill by walking around the rest of the house and seeing that it hasnt been updated since disco was in. In this case, the best case senerio happened.

If not, i was prepared to come home, open the door, show my paperwork to my landlord (who is cool as shit) and take it from there. I have 3 MMJ laywers numbers on a piece of paper in my wallet. I didnt think it would come to that, but it doesnt hurt to have. And i dont know about you guys, but i liked my little letter... although it might be moved to the inside of the tent.. not sure yet.

A few more details... a few of my roommates were home when they came by. 2 of them are in college and are basically here all the time and someone had to be home because we have a dog that could not be home alone when strangers are coming into the house because, well we'll just say that they wouldnt get in. When they tried my door and asked my roommates if they had a key they said no and that they weren't sure but my girlfriend was probably sleeping in there (she is a nurse and works nights so she usually is but didnt want to be here today in case something went down). They said ok, we dont want to bother her and moved on.

Everything couldn't have went better. I am glad i wasnt here but i was looking at my phone often today and feeling a little anxious. My roommates called me as soon as they left which was such a relief.

I am legal but that is a headache i dont need, am i right?

Thank you very much everyone, especially all my SD Finest heads. Because if this positive outcome i suspect a 4/20 party may be in order.

:thank you:

I can understand your reasoning for not wanting to be there. Brilliant comment about your GF maybe snoozing. Even better that your roomies were there to give you a first hand report.

Alls well that ends well

Maybe the most simple solution would be to be there in person nicely asking the inspector to speak quiet because your wife is sleeping (in the questioned bedroom) after she had been working a 36 hour shift @ the hospital.

Good luck man!

I wonder what you were thinking when I wrote that yesterday...honest to God I don't know you nor have we ever met.

Glad it all went smooth!
