Depending on the phenotype, C99 is great outdoors !
Look for the grapefruit one, it loves the Sun and finishes around first week of October. Its buds shine in the sunlight like no other outdoor strain, my fav for sure

The yield is average but quality is outta this world. She doesn't mold easily thanks to her Sativa bud structure and performs even in weak soil.

I agree with everyone else, great out door strain. Crazy potent. Mine was done second week of October at 41.8 N. It was Wally's F5. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks thor and indicalover. Everyone on this forum seems to be realy cool and genuine. I have a question which C99 should I get. Please voice your opinion. I'm thinking either Gypsy or Mosca.

What are the main real differences, I want the best, for the smartest spent dollar. why is Gypsy's so much better?

Hi asstastic, thanks for the encouragement, I really think that this may be the one, I like the fact it finishes early, so I can get in and get out. I was just nervous about the comment on mites, but your right any plant could be targeted. I am still wondering if she C99 can produce what I'm asking of her which is 6-8ozs per plant. By the way what's your opinion on casey jones?

Can it be done? Well ya, dude... Look at Wally's works...Of course it depends on where outdoors. But even then, I'd really be surprised to hear somebody say they found an outdoor climate as optimal for growing it as even the average indoor climate.

I wouldn't worry so much about mites outdoors as you are.
The person that said cindy loves mites was actually growing indoors, which is completely different and frankly incomparable since those critters thrive in indoor enviroments where conditions are perfect for them to wreak havoc on your plants fairly quickly. Outdoors, those same spider mites aren't nearly as badass, the rain, wind gusts, cold, and other extreme conditions often keep them miserable enough to easily keep them at bay. Don't let it weigh on your decision that much.

As for 6-8ozs, well it is certainly possible since I remember seeing it done with c99 outdoors on icmag (can't find the thread), but I personally think you may be aiming far too high in dry weight for a strain like cindy.

Thanks StrainCollector, for your imput if you have any ideas or any advice on how to reach this desired weight please let me know. My experience I'.ve allowed my friend to grow out JLP C99 freebies that Gypsy gave me years ago. I have I believe a good understanding of this plant having grown many strains before. Personally I am looking for feedback and opinions on the potential of C99 since my entire outdoor season will be based on one plant.
I have a very nice piece of property with over 10 acres. The weather is sunny pretty much all the time, with blue skies and 75f.
I'm deciding to grow C99 for the reason my market is asking for C99(JackH.) or SD. I will get the next pack of Galadriel listed that is given.:)

I'm at 44 N and have grown Cindy 99 with good results . She finished the third week of September started the the second week of April. You have to watch for mold because the buds can get very big .

What's up there BlackBart, Do you have any other info possibly on how to max the yield from C99? should I train her supper crop, top, lst, ect... Whats your opinion on Roots Organics soil..

Hey, I'd say dig an enormous hole to establish a massive root structure. and steak the branches down as they grow out (but don't let em get too close to the ground!). Also try to avoid planting too early in the season for your location, that stunts a lot of plants into premature flowering before veg has happened. Lastly, definitely ask some of the outdoor guys too, (outdoor forum), since I'm actually impersonating their knowledge haha.
Really jealous about your property, that's been my lifetime dream.

To all those who love C99, please contribute pictures, and opinion of why C99 is so special. How does she like to be grown? Does she respond to certain bondage techniques? what kind of food does she like, does she eat like a pig? In your opinion what's the most important thing to know about C99?

Well,
She smells beautiful. Among the most beautiful natural smells I've experienced.
She doesn't dry out easily in drought conditions, she'll often stay perky
Her stems aren't very woody during veg, allowing easy manipulation of branches
She grows in completely shitty soil, salt locked soil, waterlogged soil, etc
She can take a lot of abuse and not freak out with deficiencies or burns
She's very heat resistant. Ppl harvesting her in Canada shows she's likely cold resistant too
She's very potent and catches people off guard. Like an innocent girl that fucks like a pornstar.
She doesn't hermie. She'll take all the abuse you throw at her, hot soil, drought, light leaks
She doesn't stink up your entire area, so assholes can't track her using their noses.
She loves to branch, and when trained she has branches that come out of branches' branches!
She finishes very early for a strain with such a soaring intense high.

Anyway, that's just off the top of my head. And I only based this on the Joey version, which I consider fantastic.

StrainCollector, I just want to say your fckng awesome:) This is what I'm looking for. I want to know what makes C99 special to you. I don't mind putting in the safety measures and the hard work needed to make this princess perfectly happy:) I will put up all measures needed to destroy any intruder intent on hurting her. Please continue to list and give any and all info. pertaining to C99. This grow will be documented and much praise and gratitude will go to all those who help me pull this off.
