I picked up some nutrients made by dyna gro and this stuff is kickin ass. Its a one part system, one for veg, one for bloom. They have all 16 essential minerals and im doin better with this one part system than 5 years of messing around with GH, botanicare and house and garden. I called dyna gro to ask about their feeding schedule and I talked to a guy that fuckin blew my mind with the shit he was telling me about how dyna gro is 2 or 3 times more concentrated than other nute lines and how other companies only have like 10 or 12 of the 16 essential nutrients and they won't even list the stuff on the bottle because they don't wan't people to find out. And why doesn't anyone know about how important silicon is? The dude was tellin me about all these crazy benefits silicon has and how everyone just overlooks it for some reason. Anyway the silicon product they make is called protekt and I picked some up and within two days I saw a difference in stem strength. Im seriously blown away with this nutrient line and im just curious if anyone else on here has had similar results and why nobody knows about this stuff.

bongs for breakfast and blunts for dessert

I don't know why, all i know is i've been using the stuff for years and it is great..simple..and considering the the concentration level...cheap..i agree it is good

Know one knows how important silicon is? There is at least one current thread, probably two on the subject on this forum.

Dynagro has been around for a long time. I am a huge fan of the nutrient profile provided by the Bloom formula, but it's content is high in ammoniacal nitrogen. That's not a good match for the low alkalanity of my water supply, but I do keep a bottle around just in case the pH of container grows climb too high.

They absolutely own the fucking old lady ninja Orchid grower market.... not kidding :D

You can buy it at almost any nursery here so the grow stores are usually more expensive unless you have a wholsale acct like me.

22 years ago when I first came in from the summer and played around with indoor growing, Dyna-Gro was one of only 3 'nutrient programs' around (I always get a chuckle when I see that term). Besides them it was General Hydroponics and Eco-Grow (now Vital Grow @ American Ag).

Most university studies on plants in laboratory conditions, it's Dyna-Gro products that are used.

And Mr. Smiley is correct - Dyna-Gro literally OWNS the orchid deal. It's almost bizarre.

Their neem seed oil is one of the best deals around. It's cold-extracted (the preferred method) and has a 1500 PPM level of Azadirachtin making it one of the best neem oil products available to retail customers.

Probably because they don't spend a lot of money on marketing. People that have been growing, anything, for awhile know about them.

Dyna-Gro Neem Seed Oil

Dyna-Gro Neem Seed Oil

The Dyna-Gro Neem Seed Oil product is one of the best available with a guaranteed analysis of 1500 PPM of the active ingredient.

Excellent pricing and you can use the Dyna-Gro Pro-TeKt as an emulsifier for the neem seed oil - definitely a win-win mixture.

I don't use their nutes, but I do use (or have used) several of their additives, and have nothing but good things to say about dyna-grow. As others have said, their neem oil is the shit, and the price is totally reasonable for the quality of the product. Been using either protekt or silica blast (same stuff, made by botanicare) for years too, love the results...

On their homepage http://www.dyna-gro.com/ in the right column is a link to Literature and MSDS. On that page the first link under Dyna-Gro Information Sheets is Hydroponic Feeding Schedule Chart. Has their mixes for DTW apps.
I like them because they don't try to hide anything. All there in the MSDS sheets. K-L-N is another good product in addition to the others mentioned.

ok this thread made me purchase their Grow and Bloom all in one products. All 16 essential nut's have not found that in the others and for a reasonable price plus this eliminates using other products by combining into one.
I am very IMPRESSED who's been hiding this stuff

The grow stores have been hiding it so you buy dem advnsed nutriantz instead. the more I want to know what each nutrient does and why, the more i find myself back at the nursery and not the grow store. Oh yeah, this is my week to be a douche cuz someone showed me how to make my own so now I'm a nutrient hater (I'm bored)

Anyways..... the real beauty of this thread, (shame OP didn't put Dyna in the title) the beauty is that people who can't go to grow shops, or simply don't have grow shops, can find out about good quality nutrients they can get elsewhere. Stop the tide of noob's with miracle grow woes.

cheers

Since we're talking about the Dyna-Gro products... If anyone could post a picture of their bottle, I'd really appreciate it. Any of the nutrients, I'm not interested in the supplements. I'm looking for the net weight and liquid volume in particular... Thanks!

Yeah I used silica blast until I found out it has only 2% silicon whereas Dyna Gro's Pro-TeKt has 7.8%. Four times as concentrated but its the same price...... I just think Dyna Gro is the least bullshit company out there. They don't rip people off. All of their products are insanely concentrated, very effective, and very affordable. Im hooked.
I always end up dosing more though, it says only 1 tsp per gallon for the majority of their products but I find my plants perfer 2tsp's.

Does it have sufficient Cal/Mag for people that use R/O or Distilled water? I always have to add Cal-Mag, usually during flowering when using Fox Farm...
