My bad, I inferred from a previous post that the guy was Hawaiian or something. He's black, so he'll "set blacks back 60 years" the same way he'll "set southerners back 60 years" - guilt by association.

I Italicized "State Representative" in the original post to make it clear that I was talking about STATES as wholes, not individual types of people.

And anyone with a brain can see that I was joking.

I wasn't saying that the states were literally being represented differently. It was like a joke your grandpa tells you... of course he's not saying his balls actually reach his sock.

Thus, he "represents" the United States as much as he "represents" his county, Georgia, and the Southeast.

with respect to all i hope we can chill. met people from the south, thing that struck me about the ones i met were they were civilized (as in manners), kind, courteous in a way that impressed me very much, in a world where being loud and ignorant has become common.

i'm probably steppin out of bounds but even in people grouped together by outsiders, they rib each other in their "group". met a girl once (verrrrry nice, smart too), caught her drawl and asked her "you're from west virginia" she said "hell no, i'm from virginia ... i have teeth" LOL same where i'm from, in different circumstance but the same way.

had an italian friend tell me, people in the north think people in the south are bums ... people in the south think people in the north are stuck-up asses ... and people in rome (right in the middle) think people outside of rome are all barbarians

outside of that needed common demoniator of the dignity of humanity, of kindness and compassion to each other, our differences are to be celebrated ... and a little good natured teasing all brothers and sisters do to each other.
