Yo, ?s about CMH

are there certain things to be looking for when picking a cmh bulb/ballast set?

and whats the cheapest/most effective?

400watt DIY ballast kit on Ebay w/ bulb & socket.

You want a plain-jane magnetic ballast.

CMH's put off less heat so you don't have to go overboard on your cooling. You still need ventilation though.

39-150 use pulse start metal halide ballasts, some allow digital. 250 and 400 use magnetic HPS ballasts.
