Did you ever figure out what you are going to use for keeping the main cola up? For bigger plants we usually just run to a hardware store, buy either small pvc piping or actual wooden sticks for gardening. you can just break it to what ever size you need. Or if you get the pvc, just cut it. Then you can reuse anytime.

In the third picture down, can you see how the calyxes shot up half an inch overnight...the main cola is getting so heavy that I have to tie her ASAP...
I used the butter knife to show how tall the main cola is...nummy...

i would suggest using a clothes hanger! they work so well, btw, my seedling is just sprouting!! its already growing its second leafs.

Going great, dude. She reminds me of a hen and chick poppy the way you have that lower layer with the proud cola. Keep it up man.

Yeah Scrub, that looks amazing! I've never seen a poppy like that! Is it native to Australia?
silly me forgot to put the metal hangers I used to keep her tied down a long time ago.. I could'nt figure out why she seemed to be growing different till I started cutting lower leaves and such..UGH...man was I mad..all that LST'ing only to have it messed...she seems okay though...
This lady seems to be waiting for these 2 buds on the cola to connect to the leaves above until she starts filling out more...annoying...itd hard to explain so here's some pics...

the bud is as thick as the cfl thats growing it!!

see how the bud is reaching to the leaves? The cola ca'nt fully develop until they touch..those 2 buds(beside each other) have taken weeks to get that big...sheeeesh..

these 2 stinkers...

almost all the top cola leaves are fully coated with crystals...nummy..

there she is ...day 51 and counting...slowly....all good.....

I had to cut this 1 small bud of so I dried her out..just smoked some..WOW..its still early but it burns perfectly, no nute taste , tasty as all can be..a cross between skunk/diesel/and some sweetness thrown in..really looking forward to the bigger buds now!!

Here are some pics at day53 of 12/12..leaves are still very green for this late..strange...

leaves still nice and green..its like she wants to live alot longer?!at least a week but if growth is still so slow, I might just do it at 8 weeks which is Wednesday..

I have given her the final flush solution today..it doesnt' really seem smart to keep growing her when she's not really growing anymore...completely stopped...
that being said, I am germing RockLock...its 80% indica and20%sativa..finishes in 60 days too..heavy stoner weed!!!I will grow her out at 12/12 starting thuesday

so I hope you all stay tuned!!

Of course I will show weights wet and dry starting Wednesday night and whenever she's dry..hoping for 28 but I don't know..what do you all think?
I am excited about going straight 12/12 from seed just for fun!! I got this one for free too!! love free stuff...

dam man, I want free seeds! i guess im not out there enough to deserve such awesomeness, and jsut for a personal update, im making a new grow box! its twice as big, in a second speaker, which will turn my current one into a veg box PERPETUAL GROW!
