Started my first Micro Grow: PC Case & Box

Ok so I finially got the 150w HPS working today and wow huge difference in the amount of light it emits i bite myself for not hooking it up sooner but I am glad i took the extra steps to make sure it is set up correctly. Tomorrow I am going to build a box for the ballast and then set up and mount the light in the box. I was thinking about trying to design some type of cool tube. Does any one know how hot the 150w hps is going to get? what do you think the minimum distance is before i hurt the plants?
I think that 5 days may be too long, especially for the little popcorns in that pic.
I've been going for 1-2 days in my drying chamber and then into paper bags for a day or two and then into the jars.
Once you've overdried it, not much can be done.
For two harvests, I waited until I could hear the stem "snap" before going to jars. Alot of my stuff was so dry by the time it came out of jars that it just crumbled to pieces.
2 days in chamber, 2 days in paper bag then into jars my stuff still looks like yummy dank buds. (Amazing to see how compact a bud can get in a month.)

Ok awesome I will try that, I hung them to dry yesterday I will leave them in there for another day and then transfer them to a paper bag for a day or two then take them to jars. It is also my first time harvesting but I am so happy to see how these buds turned out.

I feel ya! Success feels great! Smoking something you put your care and affection into is a satisfaction that is hard to beat.
The big test with jarring is that once you put them into jars, check them again in the morning. If you see condensation inside the jars, they went in too wet.
It hasn't happened for me, but if you DID see that, you'd wanna take 'em out of the jars for a day and then do it again until no more condensation forms inside jar.

just throw em in and fold the top over amd keep it somwhere dark.
the paper will 'sweat' the moisture out.
