Thanks, great point. I think the paint needs alot of drying time right? Not the best idea to get paint vapours into what you smoke.
Bet it'd be stealthier if I converted my closet or a spare room into a growroom than a glowing server case but I just love the idea of growing inside a PC.

I think growing herb( anything for that matter!) inside a pc is crazy fun! Who'd have thought of this 10 years ago huh!
I want to try something bigger soon though but still use my pc as a mother/clone box maybe..i won't stop using this baby though!! What about you?

Thank you all, it's rally going great. With the fan on the odour has become somewhat of a problem. I'll see if I score some cheap activated carbon and DIY something or just get an odour blocking device on the door of the room.
BC- Yeah it's really something to be growing inside a PC. Of course I'm contemplating different ideas for the future but all tuned in this case could provide me far more than I need. 10g per month would be a lot for me and even with the tantalising price here I don't think I'll be selling any.
Cannastan - the hermie is no biggie, I got 3 little bananas that I pulled off. With zero stock of seeds I accidentally overdid the manual pollination tho, a bit more seeds than I expected.
Cheesebuds - thanks for stopping by, they're really white that early on, I'm surprised myself.
Next update in a couple of days, not much growth to show 3 days after the last pictures.

Yeah, it's a great thread.
I currently live with my sister and she hit her period or sth, she was fine with everything and the all of a sudden started complaining again yesterday so I'm probably building a scrubber tomorrow and I'll try to cope with her till harvest, then I'll be shutting down the grow until I move out.
Sorry to have to say this, guys.
Some good news too though: she seems to be turning slightly purple again. She was all purple in veg, so she'll probably turn purple again during flushing, right?

Thanks dude! Got my mind on some future plans for sure.
Today's update:
At last you see the insides of the case, nothing too fancy but the paper does it's job and it's fairly impossible to paint the case while in use.
Look at that ample head-space available in there! Mounting the lights horizontally or using PLLs / HPS with a heat shield would let me veg for at least a month and fill the case right up.
Also notice the fan is hung with rubber bands from the light fixture and secured with an overdose of duct tape. Makes it a lot quieter than bolted to the metal case.
Just put some decent paper in there for a bit more reflectivity. Not much motivation to buy overpriced mylar for just a few weeks of flowering left.
Picture overdose guaranteed!
It's starting to look like more than 10g might be a fair goal.
Oh, yeah, forgot to mention that the airflow from this fan even on 4.9V is more than enough to absolutely dry out that little pot in under 24h. I bet the RH in there is ~20%, at least I won't get any mold. haha
If I could only continue growing with the current conditions I bet I could pull at least 2oz at a time from the case. I've definitely learned A LOT.

My case has no humidity..I have to water every second day too..I've tried all sorts of ideas to keep humidity up and none have worked..with my case, it doesn't have a chance to get humid due to the heat and high speed fan..if you come up with any ideas, let me know.

BC, thanks, I really hope I do, noticed them starting to fill up today, the lower popcorn showed some nice growth too. By the way, in fact I have to water every single day due to the microscopic pot the plant is in. I think my fan could vent a large tent, it's a hurricane in there at 4.9V, hope to get some airflow resistance from the scrubber. I think the only solution would be to get the ambient RH up but that's not an easy one either.

Btw, I calculated that 10g would save me 300$ and I only spent 100$ on the box so I'm in for a profit.
