Only one of those is within reach. I prefer convertibles. I've had several and have driven one for over a decade. In fact, I've driven convertibles more than sedans in 25 years of driving. I just love them. They make me happier. The only time I get envy is when someone pulls up next to me with a newer car that is also a convertible.

You may be saving the planet in your Prius, but my top can go down, even on a warmish day in February.

i voted mustang

i can take 94 threw current and make them as fast as any car mentioned here or faster for a fraction of the cost of most cars named here stock

for example

95 mustang GT

add suspension multi adj saleen or roush susp
take block out bore it stroke it balance it blue print ,deck it ect ect it say a 351w to 427 or 408 stroke with kennebell turbo 2.3 edition say some bigger injectors, mass air meter x303 cam , GT40 upper ,lower intake honed ported polished cold air intake ,under pullies ,a diablo or hypertech after market computer a 355 in the rearend some 3in headers and some apr aftermarket heads ported and polished milled with roller rockers and lifters flowmaster or aero chamber exhaust X pipe 3 in all the way back and a tune on the dyno and its on like napalm this setup right here is a setup we run on a outlaw class car if i set this same setup for a road race i bet its a 200mph car with TKO 6 speed trans being this is easy a 7 -8sec setup with a 456 in the rearend on 10 in slicks ive saw turbo mustangs hit 201mph in the 1320 with small blocks and boost fed dual turbos its nothing to hit over a 1200hp in these cars and 1000+lbs of RWTQ with pullie style turbos

i could do the same with a pinto and it might run faster! doesnt mean its any better

a ferrari is not bought b/c its fast
a ferrari is not bought b/c its luxurious
a ferrari is not bought b/c it turns
a ferrari is not bought b/c it looks like sex

a ferrari is bought b/c it is a ferrari

unless you tear down a mustang and rebuild it from scratch with a team of the best mechanical engineers, race car drivers and designers on this planet... its nothing to compete!

but that still doesnt mean i dont feel like the king of the road when i drive my 66 gt

^ Big negative on that sir.

You can build a 10 second Cobra for about 25k.

Ferrari doesn't make a 10 second car.

dude we have 10.5 outlaw mustangs here in CA running 5-6secs AT 209.2 MPH in 1/4mile go read up on outlaw class .....and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SApphqLwCwM

our KB cobra has already spit a ferrari and a new souped up Ford GT in 1/4mile @ 9.7secs (everyday street car) doesnt take alot to make these cars fast once 20lbs of boost and u get 790hp if we run more we can get 929HP at 25lbs of boost this DOHC has been rebuilt with all forged internals on stock bore of the 4.6 cams and fuel injectors and MAP sensor and Tbody is upgraded so is fuel pump did away with IRS susp on a GT500 with this kit u can hit way over 1200HP 1100lbs+ of RWTQ readup on Kennebell or Whipple charged mustangs and cars it will make u sick see what we do with a 281 ci 4.6 dual over head cam motor 23,000$ for 9.7-10sec car made in 04 is not a bad price including the car and mods and dyno tuned at 790hp

American made for me Chevy or Ford fuk the rest if i wanted a supercar id purchase a saleen S7 keep american money in america

I had a '66 Mustang convertible. Chic magnet for sure, mainly because the backseat with the top down was big enough to well you.

My manager had a cherry '68 bubble-top fast back. Hugo didn't blow a single tile off his roof but it fell an oak tree on his Mustang. Total loss of one of the best looking cars I ever laid eyes on. Haven't seen one since.
