Biatchz- i have never seen "Rez's Sour IBL", but ive heard nothing but good things........but in the last year ive weeded through about a dozen big name strains with a good rep, but it was all a bunch of hype. Other than Diesel or any of its close relatives i haven't seen anything that rivals the cuts of AK-47 or White Shark that i have, although im on the constant search.

Hey dude. Yeah it's def an amazing strain. Anything he does wit diesel is amazing. There's a bunch of people on here actually that have incredible Including Mr.Big$. He's got a few good Sd x Ak 47. Some of the best are created by fellow ICmaggers

I really have a bone to pick when it comes to finding an "original" diesel line. I know clones are out there, but not in my garden, so from my situation, in order to find anything even remotely similar, I'm going to hunt through the D39 seed line see if I can isolate a few that are pure fuel and nothing but...

You guys need to really rethink the west coast. I'm from the east originally and I've grown real deal diesel out there. Came out to the west and within 3 months I was able to pick up a real original diesel clone. You just gotta find the right co-op or clone only collective. Diesel is out here...a lot of it in fact, you just hear about and see the more kush dominant diesel cause kush is king out here. In fact, I can find pretty much every 'elite' strain out here in the co-ops, it's just knowing who is reputable and who isn't, that's the key. It's like finding pre-98 bubba, tons of rip-offs everywhere but if you know the right co-op they've got it day in day out.

Unfortunately the east coast doesn't have the access like the west has. Everything is driven way underground and you gotta know the right people and getting into those circles can be very difficult.

the clones ARE out there but unless you have it from a grower you trust, you are doomed to cycling it before you find out.
i don't personally know many growers, so i pop beans...

i love everyones variation of the origin of Diesel. 9 out of 10 people who talk about diesel here probably have never even smoked it. it came from here in the northeast, and is still here with those is the know. But its held close to the vest, i guarantee whatever it is thats called Diesel on the west coast is not the diesel were puffin on here in the northeast

6 or so seeds came from and oz or two of 'bag-weed'... origins unknown... but it 'closely held' on the east coast... what a load of shit...

the origins are unknown to the people lookin from the outside in bro dont get it twisted.

1st off... nice car... cobra?? ground effects???my bro just traded his 09 stang for a challenger srt hemi... nice but put next to an old challenger looks bloated...i guess thats what 700/800 more lbs will do..

as the story goes someone from the western u.s sent an oz or two to someone on the east coast (maybe deadheads??), and there were 1/2 dozen seeds.. is anyone sure of the origin of the weed?? and even if it could be traced back, how do we know that other oz's/lb's of the same weed was not sent out west... canada, where ever, so there could be chemdog all over...

^^^ Cool...but no one is really talking about Chemdog directly.

But rather "original diesel"....which is not the same as the Chem cuts...not the D or #4 or the '91....

I believe that this is the ecsd cut. Whatever she is, well she's a real unique creature. This one goes 80 days and has the little curled back bud leaves that id it as the real one. Either way, I love all of them.......and hope that every grower could run her and have the chance of experiencing this incredible plant......................

Oh yeah, this is day 69 and this cut responds to flushing immediately and then rapidly blows out. I've given this cut out all over my county and it sure has improved the towns quality of life!!

Well the exact same can be said of the West coast being surprised the things they have that have made it this way. MOST west coast guys...you tell them you have OGK...they instantly want pics and ask which cut, from who...on and on...b/c there is simply NO WAY we have the same thing out here...

Point being...it is a two way street...and perhaps it would do us all a bit of good to realize people are networked...AND FINALLY...YES... we are actually accomplishing the task of getting the best genetics in the hands of those that can get the to the world....GO US!!

"US" = generic term for the movement as a whole

Very true very true. When I was back east I had a pre-98 bubba and OGK and nobody wanted to believe me...well that was until the saw the nugs and how nice they were. I'll def say that since the east coast growers are way more underground and tight knit that when you get a cut and someone says it's something, it usually is that. Only had one cut I got from someone that wasn't what they said it was. A lot of the co-ops out here just label clones anything they want so they can sell em faster.

I'd like to see every cut of every strain make it everywhere in the country. I hate the whole 'elite' cut bs.

For sure. I find that interesting the correlation made between underground circles and the authenticity of things....

After all, it is usually when someone says that got something from a under-the-radar network that everyone flips tops and says it can't be so....lol.

I've yet to be handed anything that isn't legit. Then again, I would never take anything from anyone if I ever had to question that in the first place...but then again, this isn't Cali, and we can't go to 1,000 different weed-marts...hahahaha

Chaco, that looks exactly like the diesel that I grow. It was a bagseed that was "supposedly" NYC Diesel. Even though my plants' lineage is unsure, there is no mistaking the heavy diesel taste on the exhale after taking the green hit.

the d39 would seem to be a good starting place based upon breeder description. however i dont think the m39 mom is an old school heirloom, and is more of the newer, sweeter, dutch variety.

i grew the gonzo 2, m39 x sensi hk daddy. rez swore road kill would be found in every few packs. all i found was grapey sweet with a mediocre buzz.

there is a d39 grow/smoke report somewhere on this site. i believe it confirms what i am saying...

all the best!!
