Hi all! I just recently got my compliant medical grow up and running. It is my first grow and hope to learn a lot along the way. The ladies are around 3.5 weeks old and have been vegging under 3000w HPS bulbs for around 1.5 weeks. The gals have had some explosive growth since first transplanting them. I am running the lucas formula and around 3 days ago I bumped them up to full strength(8/16) nutrients. Everything has been going great with just some minor bumps along the way. Anyway here are some of the technical details on my room.
3 1000 watt HPS Supersun bulbs in Hydrofarm Radiant 8 reflectors, powered by 3 Xtrasun ballasts. In order to run the lights I ran a 240v line directly from the breaker on its own 30amp circuit and then wired up 3 240v outlets. I still do not have a timer for the lights, but that is in the mail. A 2100cfm fan with an outside intake cools the reflectors.
The ladies reside in 9inch square pots filled with hydroton in 3 4x4 Botanicare trays. Every table is hooked up to a 15gal reservoir with 2 air stones and 250gph submersible pump in each. The drip system is on 24/7 and I have had no problems thus far. I am using RO water as well in the reservoirs.
Anyway enough with the typing here are some pictures!
Also any additives you guys suggest running in a hydro lucas setup let me know, I am all ears!
