I was going to say Cush GC... to slow. Theres great environmental factors in E contributing to our ability grow superior herb outdoor (genetics aside), fertile soil more temperate climate and intense intense sun in south, explosive results. Then there's plenty of genetic potential by saving your bagseed from good mexi and south amer, asian brick to top notch grade A with a few seeds in it, it all comes through with the SE being a major cooridoor. tons of variety. then order some landraces and work them out. eventually you get your grail, its how it happens excluding the incredible "stumble upon" accidental crosses.
plenty of guerillas on the EC, in the swamps and in Appalachia working some of the most elite strains. Inside, outside, the passion that drives growers to create/discover elites in the west is the same as East, except the legal conditions are polar opposite. Its hostile SE especially, you add that pressure to the desire and it just makes EC grwrs stronger. the mentality is grow it hell or high water, synon with FUCKEM. Its bible belt, tobacco and cotton country law- they push real real hard and play really dirty... as for growers fuck shoving back, throw a punch and plant a bunch, they say write your rep we do and have since the fucking 90s and they throw that shit on the floor, rip table it w/e, no lie. I ask WHERE is the representation in TN KY GA FL AL MS SC NC VA etc?nowhere in SE, none for MJ, they force it underground, they make us fight. hard. fuckem.

spoiled sums it up for western US breeding, or "have it easy" when you compare the laws.

ive grown out many seeds from a local outdoor grower who said they were afghani genetics. most of them ended up smelling of cat piss but there was one phenotype that was very special. a afghanica hashplant with superb fruity citrus aroma. ive cloned away and now am in the process of flowering out a few more . ive dubbed her the name starburst because each bud of the plant gives off its own unique fruity, citrus scent similar to a flavor out of a pack of starburst fruit chews. the buds go purple at the end of their flowering life. i plan to keep this strain in my garden for a long while.a true kind east coast flower.

be well,
Tabwat

Hopefully that clone gets around, sounds delicious :)

I used to get a really dank strain called John Mayer, from some cats based out of Bmore. Anyone here know wtf I'm talking about?? lol

Not sure the details (could be BS) but the story for Bubblegum has it coming from the Midwest via New England before Holland.

I have a cousin who lives down in N Fla and when I visit her the Crypto is amazing to say the least. It has this soapy and fruity hard to place smell that we just don't get out here in Cali and the taste is pretty fantastic and much like a menthol fruit. I called and asked about some local strains and she gave me these: Goofy Grape, Skaze, Crypto (said it is an actual strain), Florida Orange, & Christmas Bud. Don't know if any of those ring a bell for you East coasters. One day we can all be a big happy family and swap clones hopefully! :joint:

Myth says Chemdawg/OG Kush originated from an East Coast recipient.

At a Grateful Dead show at Deer Creek Amphitheatre, 'joebrand' (aka 'wonkanobe') and 'pbud' met 'chemdog' and sold him an ounce of very high quality pot for $500. joe and chemdog exchanged numbers and they later arranged for two ounces to be shipped to chemdog on the east coast. According to chemdog, one ounce was seedless and the other had 13 seeds.

Sensi seeds suck nowadays anyways man, they have gone down the toilet. I would spend my money elsewhere for sure. Spice of Life is always a sure bet! So is Dutchgrown.

Get the Adventure mix pack on the bay, it's cheap and there are some amazing strains in it. The Blue Satellite 2.2 is father by the Sweet Tooth.

actually, the 2.2 is an inbred f2 that was originally fathered by the swt at the f1 mark. bs 2.2 is bs x bs, not swt x bs.

i know you know your sol and this was more than likely stoner error, just thought i would point it out.

my keeper pheno of bs 2.2 yields like a heavy swt3, taste of sour berries, and is resin caked like deep chunk. i read that others found 2.2 to be bland, which is somewhat true of the other phenos i encountered. i wish they could try mine! look for the BIG fan phenos, they're nice.
