Looks are deceiving, i actually think this one will be a pretty low producer, buds are large but very airy. I havent tried this one yet, but I did smoke some MNS nevilles haze x mango tonite and it was very good, i bet this OHxSK1 will be even better.

i've been checking out sams stuff for a while, havent purchased any yet though. will see how this one goes :) i like the original hazes to smoke but to grow indoors is a bitch. too bad nothing really gives that soaring long lasting high like a haze plant does. and im quite a fan of the cat piss funky smells. how does this one smell?

That's a bushy plant. I germinated my freebies last year, and only grew
them for a month. just to see what they would look like. It's was my first
plant with any haze in it. I should have finished them, they did smell nice
but I was pressed and couldn't do it. But this year, I'm doing a pure haze
called "Oldtimer Haze".

I wish Sam would just come out and play again and make a fresh
batch of all his wares. I would certainly jump on a batch of the Pure
if they were fresh. I'm not sure how the one's that the Flying Dutchman
now germinate?

Nice to see haze plants under control like that first pic.

nice bit of training you've done on her, is that all lst? What is her height? Did you have any other ohxsk going right now, how was your germ rate on the freebies? I have 40 of these freebie seeds to sort through and make f2s hope to find some nice ones. Neville's/mango is on my want list in the near future as well as the cbh should be some happy flavorful days in your future, thanks for the pics and please let us know how she finishes.

I just popped 3 OH x Sk#1 from Sam, and i also want to grow them after only 1 week of veg :D With pure or almost pure sativa strain i think this is the better way to grow them in not too big space indoor, now i'm just finishing a Somaui from Soma Seeds and she's goin' great!

+ rep ;)

long lasting n mind warping thats why i lov haze n call me nasty but i lov that catpiss n incense trait.

i recently had my first haze experience and aside from all the worry of better suited for expert/experienced tropical climate it was a pleasure and most definetly som of the most vigorous plants ime ,definetly worth the wait

i had the pleasure outdoors n i too have thought they might not yield aswell indoors but after seeing this grow n som others haze can most definetly yield for you indo

curious to kno which haze have you experienced the catpiss trait?
also are you familair with the incense trait in any haze lines?

corky

I wish Sam would just come out and play again and make a fresh
batch of all his wares

you and many others

i also wish sam would discuss the incense trait in haze also catpiss

hey bigherb, the cat piss smells i have found most commonly in nevilles haze. some local land race swazi can also have this trait but i think this is because there was cross polination of north indian genetics to the south african area back in the late 1800's and early 1900's. This is where the origional haze comes from if im not mistaken. As far as an incense trait goes i have not grown any plants myself that have this flavor but i have smoked some stuff that does. I cannot help you pin point what kinds of plants will have this though. A mango plant had it and some Moroccan hash seemed like sweet incense flavor as well.

interesting
IME nevilles haze was dark spicy incense ,with no catpiss
i only popped one seed tho lol

how about the ohaze you spoke of ?

but in mns sk/hz i had a catpiss pheno ,its seems to be reported the older haze ,pure haze is known for the catpiss trait

some local land race swazi can also have this trait but i think this is because there was cross polination of north indian genetics to the south african area back in the late 1800's and early 1900's. This is where the origional haze comes from if im not mistaken

the N.indian genetics being introduced to S.africa is intriguing ,but it was a reported S.indian that was later introduced to the haze line

the S.american strains i believe are known to contribute the incense trait ,i believe indian ganja has also been reported to hav spicy incense traits

Here is a few more pics from the side. In the beginning of 12/12 she stretched like crazy, as you can see. She was only veg'd for 7 days and she has to be atleast 2 to 2 and a 1/2 feet tall from the top of the pot

Bloyd, I employed a few training techniques with her, first was root restriction, she was trans planted 5 times, 2 times were during flowering. She was flowered for like 11 or 12 weeks in a 3 gal bag then transplanted in another 2 gal pot on the bottom. I do this because with these hardcore haze plant to fertilize with top dress or tea is almost too much, they need little more than fresh soil and a bit of seaweed and molasses here and there.

I also fimmed her as an experiment early in 12/12. Then from that point on she got tied down every day, stems rubbed, and you cant see this in the pics but she was pretty much tied it knots, this is one of the most flexible branched plants I have ever had.

I raised her like kobi beef, and hope to be rewarded with some champagne of cannabis.

Bigherb, she was grown in organic soil with organic nutrients. I veg'd and flowered for like 12 weeks under a 250W HPS then moved her under a 600W HPS when she out grew both a cab and a tent and left no room for the other plants.

I will be gifting some of her to all of my closest friends because I feel the high from long flowering haze could come all but once in a lifetime for most people and it should be shared with those who love the plant.

I am very proud of this haze, to grow a plant for like 23 weeks is quite the experience and seems to be almost a dying art form :artist: in the weed world. I have never had a bad haze :smokeit:
