ebay lights?

I'm looking for a 600 watt setup, and the lights on ebay are easily $60-100 cheaper then elsewhere. Is anybody using ebay lights, specifically from yescomusa?

Thank you.

I have purchased a 1000 watt light kit off of ebay from the same seller, i've only had it running for about a week but it seems to be working great. Really swelling up my buds. I had to purchase my setup off of ebay too because i'm really broke but for being an all in one kit (bulb, ballast, reflector, light movers) it's a pretty good setup. I think it's going to do me some good. I can't vouch for the 600 watt but what size grow space are you using a 600 for?

not to piss on ya'all's parade but a long time ago on a site called "overgrow" we used to steer away from "e-bay" cuzz their security people were too damn "cozy" with law enforcement. ( the bastards have been acused of informing the fuzz about the buyers info.) not a good warm fuzzy feelin is it???

jjust use common sense and purchas ur "e-bay" wares through a "proxy buyer" to insulate ur identity/location to E-Bay security and thus LEO (potentially!)

peace!!!

I bought a 400w digi ballast and cooltube kit from eBay and I love it. Had it running for about 3 weeks now with no problems.

Ok, Thank you for the replies. BTW - I'm setting up a 4x4 tent.

Has anyone been running one for a longer period of time? I'm curious if they will hold up as well as a "brand" name, or if I'd just be better off spending more up front.

Thanks!

I have a 600 watt MH/HPS switchable and a 400 watt mh, both from the same ebay seller. I have done 3 grows with them and no problems. I may replace the generic bulbs pretty soon, but the ballasts and hoods appear decent enough.

I got a great deal on a 600 digital with AC hood, easily 100$ or more cheaper than local hydro shops. Just because you buy a grow light doesnt mean you are going to use it for growing weed, last time I checked grow lights werent illegal.

I have purchased 4 600 watt lumateks with air cooled hoods, and hps bulbs. Also I have purchased a 400 watt lumatek with air cooled hood and bulbs along with multiple fans and accessories. You cant beat the prices on ebay. I always go there first.
