Sup ICMag :) Its been a while since Ive posted over here. I wanted to get it all figured out before I publicly failed again lol

Here goes, My system is a DIY RDWC bubble bucket hydro set up. I am limited in space so I grow only 2 plants at a time. I use the scrog method with a 30x30 screen under 400W HPS/MH. All of this is set up in a 48"x30"x70" DIY box made of 1/2" plywood and 2x3s. I feed my girls GH nutes on the Lucas Formula, and I also use GH KoolBloom during flowering. I flower in the box, and I veg in a small closet that I have converted.
The strain that I am flowering right now is unknown. It was seed from some very good mid grade hydro. I have been growing it for a year now. Very easy, and a quick finisher. Plus its fkn killer :) They have about 3 more weeks to go before I put my first known strains in to flower. These are the first seeds I have ever purchased. I got them from The Attitude and got a few freebes to boot :)
I bought:
Barneys Farms Violator Kush feminized
Nirvanas Pure power Plant feminized
I popped one of each about 4 weeks ago, and have had them under 18/6 for a week.
Here are a few pics of my set up, whats in the box now, and my babies that I cant wait to get in the box :)

Good luck man, I'll be interested to see what you think of the PPP.... a fellow ICMAG'r just hooked me up with a couple clones of his seed plants so hopefully one of the phenos is a good one.

Cool :) thanks for stopping by. I am also very interested in the PPP, Ive heard some good things about it. I had to clean out a lot of old photos I had on here so i could have room for the new ones. I will be putting up some more in a little while.

Just beautiful, really healthy looking, looks like you rolled em in sugar :)

Some good pics too. What kind of yields have you been seeing from 2 plants in your system?

cheers

This is the first time I have grown 2 plants. I started with 2 last time but due to a bone head mistake, I almost killed them both at the start of flowering. I saved one of them, and got almost 5 ounces dry from her :) I will better that for sure this time but the stretch got to these. I have a lot more space between the nodes than i wanted. They wont be nice and compact like the last grow.
Here are a few pics from my last harvest with this system. 1 plant, and I didnt have enough room to hang it all in my box. I had a good bit hanging in my veg closet as well.

From rooted clone to the 12/12 switch, i vegged for 6 weeks. I also FIMd the main top on each plant, then topped the 4 main shoots I got from the fimmimg. The one plant filled 80% of the screen. Growing in a scrog is awesome :)
During my last grow I wasnt using an add back formula. So when ever I topped off the res, i was adding back way to much nutes. When I caught it, it was at 2800ppm. I killed one plant, and the one that I harvested got really sick before she started budding. I brought her back and got 134g dried from here. If both plants would have made it, i wouldnt have had enough screen. So I only FIMd the plants that are in there now. The screen needs to be a little bigger, I was a tad overgrown, but this is all the space I have to grow at the moment.
Here are a few pics of the one plant right before harvest.

The PPP and the VK are doing well. They have around 3 or 4 more weeks to veg. It just depends on when I harvest whats in the box now. I will be FIMing both plants tomorrow. Getting them ready for the scrog. Both plants are around 700ppm with the PH at 5.8. The PPP seems to like the nute level. But the VK is getting a little brown on the very tips of the leaves.
I took some pics of the PPP and the VK. I am also posting a couple from inside the box, and a PPP mom that I have started in soil :)

A little update here since it has been a while. 26 days into flowering and the PPP is doing really well. She is running at 1000ppm,
the PH is at 5.6. 74* air temps. 68* res temps.
I have had to bend and tie down the bigger shoots. They got into the light, and I cant raise it anymore. All of my previous grows have all been the same strain from a seed from a bag of some really good mid grade stuff. So I really didn't know what to expect from the PPP. It just keeps growing and growing. I have actually had to tie some of the shoots down just to pull them away from the lights lol and the bud sites are everywhere. This will for sure be a heavy yeilder.
When I read up on the PPP and the Violater Kush, the descriptions led me to believe that these would grow the same. But the PPP has taken over and swallowed the VK. So i know now that I will not ever grow these 2 in a scrog together again.
Check her out :)

man...looking great! do you weave your plants through the screen and tie them down or just
let them grow through the screen?

i would loooove to see what you could do with a bigger op!

Naa bro, no weaving. Once a shoot is a few inches above the screen you just pull it out of the hole its in, and move it further out. The whole idea here is to achieve as much screen coverage as possible while keeping the canopy at the same height across the screen. Everything gets even light this way :)

Thanks for stopping by bro :)
