hey bro!
i found a rather "new" brand, called: "pepe", which consists only of virgina helena tabacco, and is very mild and unflavoured, and should have a rather low nicotine content

Thanks for the feedback.
I haven't smoked pure for years. I like joints, but not pure joints or with weed, which doesn't burn consistently with hash, imo.
I don't smoke cigarettes, smoking one would make me throw up actually, but I cannot roll with tobacco. I know a few friends like this and I'm sure there are many more out there. I don't smoke weed either, haven't done so for 10 years or so. I love the plant, but I cannot smoke just the bud. If I puff in the daytime, I still need to work, watch the kids, run my business, ride my bike, communicate with people, etc, and I cannot do it anymore while high on weed, but I can function pretty well after a big hash spliff. Maybe it's a part of getting old.
Looking into the Pepe right now, hope to find something nice soon.

Damn, i live in the U.K and i use Drum to roll joint with. didnt think you had it in USA
in my opinion drum is the best tasting tobacco out there and ive been rolling my own for over 8 yrs now
it used to be my full time smoke till the govt decided to tax it even more, they added like a 200% tax on rolling tobacco to keep it up to par with the price of premanufactured cigs which is ludicrous
now i have to smoke anything thats labeled pipe tobacco but it really cig tobaccco usually ends up being gamblers "4 aces" or the house blend "pipe tobacco" 1 lb of that for 20 bucks or pay about 20 bucks and get maybe 4 ounces of "cig tobacco"

when i buy rollie tobacco i usually get some bali shag halfzware.
decent taste and quality, kind cheap dries out quick though

I'm pretty hot on the hash+tobacco/spliff mostly because I started smoking with a Frenchman who smoked nothing but. I've tried most hand rolling tobaccos and the Peter Stokkebye and Bali Shag lines are my favorite by far. The tobacco is finely cut and fluffy with relatively no "bird's eyes," so it cradles the hash and makes for a nice tight smooth roll. I like their lighter blends; the cream colored Golden Shag for Bali and the Norwegian Shag for Stokkebye. Where I am they are kinda difficult to find but well worth it for the enjoyment of a proper spliff.
Auld Kendal Light, very good as it doesn`t have too strong taste and it`s only about a fiver an ounce.
Has less chemicals in it aswell.

Sounds yummy, I have a sweet tooth for Javaanse Jongens halfzware shag, 3/4 & Deluxe are great too. I always buy a few packets when I'm in Germany or Netherlands (not sold in France). Makes nice smoke, I like to mix those dark and tasty tobaccoes with some a nice & tasty moroccan polm. mixes great !
Not that nasty, a small quantity of tobacco actually helps to increase to rate of cannabinoids (and most especially thc) vaporization, thus increasing cannabinoids uptake. Just have to find the right ratio.

Is there a common tobacco/ganja or tobacco/hash ratio or do you just see what you like? Ah Nevermind I just saw the thread about this in the den.
On a side note I saw somebody hand roll a cigarette out of some kind of dip skoal or kodiak wintergreen. yuck.

I usually put a cigarette to a gr of good maroc,i like Manitou.
Thats the way we do it in Denmark. But when i smoke green i usually use a quarter of a cig to 1 gr of good bud.
