Nice job!
If those are auto's, mine showed sex at day 20...so if those are 20 days old, then you should be able to tell for sure...I grew an easy-ryder in a pc earlier so if you ever need help, be sure to ask
good luck!!

Thanks for the feedback guys! Its encouraging to know that some veterans microgrowers are keeping an eye on my grow. Maybe I will be lucky enough to get a nice little harvest in the end. :)

The plants have not grown much in height, but I guess thats a good thing considering the limited space. :)

@BC Chronic: Do you have a link to your auto Lowryder grow thread, if it excists? Also since you have done this before, when do you think I should switch to a 2700k CFL? I am running a 6400k now.

Many thanks in advance! :)

Day 23

lookin good so far :) btw i dont recomend to use books as seating, cause they do drain humidity a lot and can even catch a mold easily... better use some pot, pvc box, CDs or whatever just no books

Hey Bloodlock, hope you get that problem sorted out. Thats what is putting me of on a small water set up like yours you have to be so precises with every thing and 1 small error really shows. I have grown hydro years ago but in much larger containers which are a little more stable and forgiving. Best of luck m8, otherwise looking real good, keep it up:gday:

Hi guys and thanks for the feedback!

The spots are probably PH problems yes. When I have changed water I have adjusted it to 5,8. But it has drifted upwards to 6,2-6,3 within 24 hours. Not any higher than that... Now I have started with water at PH 5,4, and it doesnt seem to drift just as much.

Regarding nutes I have fed it Ionic Grow at 0,8 EC.

I have now switched to 2700k CFLs. The 200 watt I had lying around gave a big increase in heat, so I had to get another 125w one from the store today. Temps are around 29 C, water is cooler though I dont have a way to measure watertemp right now.

I also changed the exhaust fans today. They are 120mm 72 CFM 14 dBA from Silenx.com

Also bought an Ion-generator / aircleaner:

Red alert!

Red alert!

Today I decided that the PC cabinets would not be big enough for the fast growing Easy Ryder girlies. They liked the new 2,2 L watertanks to much and would have grown into the CFL lights in a matter of 2-3 days. And I dont think LST or scrog would have stopped them at this stage either. At least not with my experience, this is my first grow after all!

So I decided to build a new and bigger cabinet. The problem was I had to fix it today(!!!). So I went over to Ikea and bought a bigger cabinet and have spent the day fixing it up! It is located in the kitchen, right next to the fridge. :) I tried to run with a 200w CFL at first, but got into temp problems. It works ok with the 125w one though, so I will run with that until I can optimize the airflow more.

My 3 plants fits in there nicely and I have lots of vertical space to grow in. I have raised them closer to the light after taking these pics.

I made a DYI carbon scrubber and installed it with a new 120mm Scythe Ultra Kaze fan at the top shelf, sucking out air through the scrubber. Intake is near the bottow of the cabinet.

Will have to optimize it of course, but I am pretty happy considering I thought about it for the first time 1 day ago!

Hopefully I can show you some nice budshots soooooon! :)

Hi man, thanx! Checked out your pictures and wow! The whole plant looked like one big bud at the end. I hope mine turn out just as nice! :)

Some new pics. They are growing alot vertically, even though I keep them about 5 cm from the lights. And the root balls are getting enormous! Might have to change to even bigger water reservoirs.

Hey bloodlock!! sorry I haven't been around..
I kept a mix of lights through the whole grow..I used 4-5 2700k and 1-2 6700k for a mixed spectrum...
I have a ton more pics to put in there..
keep up the great work bro..
My easy-ryder was a mass of roots so if you can give her more room, you will be happy and so will she!!
take care

Hi BC, no worries! I am afraid of giving them more rootspace and that they will become to tall. Do you think I should LST them or will they slow down soon? :)

The girlies are coming along nicely here

Also started up some Kush, will veg them in one of my PC cases and move them over to the big cabinet when the Easy Ryders are done. I could go perpetual now that I have 3 grow cabinets! wohoo, that would make me one of the happiest people on the planet! :)
