Lately I've heard a fair amount of positives regarding Aurora Indica from Nirvana. I was going to grab a pack of their Cali O but after hearing their AI can match it with some of the best higher priced Indi's around I'm forced to rethink my purchase (I know, it's $25 bucks but these days it all counts!) I'm lacking in the Indica department as far as my seeds go and I'm looking for a heavy hitter. If the Cali O can turn me into a chair and satisfy my taste buds then I can't see a reason to go elsewhere but if the AI is much heavier in the stone department then I'll maybe give her a try as I've read she's fairly uniform. (haven't read about the Cali O's pheno consistency) So, give me your votes and opinions, everyone's is appreciated and will be considered. Thanks people of IC...

I've grown the Cali-O......grows well, two phenos, one very squat, NL/Kush type, very resinous, the other a lot more stretchy....both yield about the same. Citrus taste/smell, not necessarily orange. No hermi tendancies at all (which I have found with a few Nirvana strains)

The high is not all that potent, a mixed head-body stone.....certainly won't turn you into a chair....sort of weed you can smoke all day. But nice.....I'd buy another pack, if there weren't a thousand other strains I'd like to try out first.

Never grown the AI, but heard it's a knock-you-on-your-arse indica, very strong, very couchlock.

So the two are completely different buzzes. If you want potency.....the AI is the way to go.

I've grown both. Go with the AI, it will make you sit down, almost pure strong indica. COB is more like 50/50 indica/sativa weed with great taste and medium potency.

Let AI go for 9 weeks and it's heavier than Electric Wizard.

I haven't grown either, but if you're looking for a strong indica then AI should be the shit.

Thanks for the replies people. I've got some very heavy Indica strains already. (by my standards anyway) Blockhead, Sweet tooth#3, White rhino, G13BlackWidow F4 and a Hashplant that isn't available that was a gift from a friend. Thing is, I'm in the process of setting myself up again for indoor growing and I've decided I'd like to try at least 3 different (and new to me) hydroponic methods in order to ascertain which method would be the most suitable. Since my first few runs will consist mainly of my treasured SOL and other rare no longer available strains I figure it'd make sense to test the methods on a strain I can grab a few packs of that will be easily affordable and it seems the AI fits the bill. Being an Indica the AI would also have a similar growth pattern, stretch characteristics etc. as the strains I'm eventually going to be running for F2 seeds. Having been in 'the wilderness' for so long I feel like I'm going to f&ck up anything I touch. My outdoor grows do fairly well but outdoor growing is a whole different ballgame and requires a different skill set really, touch and go, get a feel for the plant sort of thing. Hydro indoors on the other hand can be very monotonous. A non grower with the right equipment and a bit of instruction can successfully pull a decent grow indoors first try, I've seen it first hand. Come to think of it people like us here are probably in the minority when it comes to growing, people with a dedication to the plant that is. I'm way off topic, thanks again. Think I'll give it a run.
